Never felt so unwelcome as playing in the epl this season.

Absolutely joyless affair. Even if we score, the overwhelming dread will eclipse any good feeling. We'll concede through a mistake or ref ineptitude.

Just fucking end already.

Smallbone will sort it

As soon as he comes on it’s game over. For Saints.  Please Simon Rusk no unforced subs today. Just leave the starting 11 on there 🤞

Good half time, I can watch the cricket for a while. A better feel good factor with Hampshire right now.

Not too bad a half for Saints. West Ham are pretty poor, absolutely no intensity in their play at all. Commentators accused JWP of deliberately missing. That was a bit strong.

I reckon Dibling on for Onuachu, who's main strategy seems to be falling on people.

Problem is we all know exactly how this game is probably going to pan out, but at 0 0 there is always a sliver of hope.

I'd love to see an alternate universe where he never came on away to United and we go on to win the game. What could have been.

I think most of us have been in a footballing coma since the start of the year.

I would leave Onuachu. He is the only target man we have and keeps the opposition defence from pushing up. Isn't he also our top scorer?

This with shiny knobs on. Maybe give Dibling or Stewart a run out, but that's it

No one needs to be given a game. The game is at a deathly pace anyway, so no body will be tired.

BBC said it was last year. Who knows 🤷

It was 11 years ago.

BBC can no longer be relied upon for accurate information sadly.

This has been on their main football page for over 15 minutes…

We can all see it coming. But honestly I'd rather have no substitutes and risk professional footballers being "too tired" than make a load of subs (Smallbone, Bree, Wellington, Archer) who are so fucking shit we are guaranteed to lose anyway.

Just leave this team on FFS.

Agreed. We always look so much worse with a midfielder up front. I wonder why...?

Yep. It's amazing how everyone complains about the possession obsessed style of modern football, but then when you have players who are specialists at one or two things but inevitably give the ball away more than the Pep-clones they get slated.

I hate Bednarek and Stephens so much, nearly a decade of watching these two being utter utter wank.

Players are such thick cunts. Manager probably repeating over and over, "on your toes, don't doze off at the start!".

Doze off at the start... got it boss!

No idea why we didn't just give the gig to Rusk back in December. We'll never score many goals but we look a lot more organised.

There will be a few thinking just the same and wondering what might have been had that happened.

It's mental that they've had multiple contract extensions in that time. Two absolute shitstains on this clubs history.

Does feel like we're never getting rid of them.

As we try to enjoy summer...

Southampton nominate dual club captains in Bednarek and Stephens.

Delighted Spors annouces that the future looks bright with two club legends forming a formidable spine to promotion chasing Saints.

They have to retire eventually!

They'll do a Lallana and stay and coach the next generation of players 😳

Not soon enough, but they will be here next season

Can't wait to see their gormless mugs in the tunnel at Fratton Park next season .
