Lighthouse Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Cant be arsed checking who we’ve got, I assume it’s an away game. Anyway, carry on COYS etc. 2
Doctoroncall Posted April 16 Posted April 16 (edited) Can only see a loss, even though it’s against the 17th placed side. Edited April 16 by Doctoroncall D
SNSUN Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Relegation 6 pointer. Could close the gap to 22 points with a win. 4
trousers Posted April 16 Posted April 16 (edited) Assume this is the match where JWP finally gets the free-kick goals record...? #inevitable P.s. will this be the first time he's played against us since leaving? Edited April 16 by trousers 1 1

I thought that too. He's got to get it at some point and as Potter's playing him at least then there's a chance. We will also get to be involved with another record so can we get Cap'n Jack and Bedders to give away a lot of cheap free kicks in JWP territory? 3 3

die Mannyschaft Posted April 17 Posted April 17 I'm in upper tier so won't e able to make out much of the play. Can Saints just agree a 400m relay v WHU for the 3 points. 1 1

Saint Garrett Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Who doesn't love a London away day, visiting some nice pubs and hopefully have some decent weather. The football will be terrible, and probably a waste of time. We'll probably sit in a low block again and get the pleasure of watching Onuachu bumbling about attempting to look like a footballer. 1
skintsaint Posted April 17 Posted April 17 West Ham need a pick me up, so here we are for the gift of 3 points and lots of goals.
jamesfp1 Posted April 17 Posted April 17 West Ham are rubbish so they might only win 2-0. 2nd goal will be JWP free-kick. This leagues needs new writers. 1

Baird of the land Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Hopefully onachu is fit enough to play and get the goal that somehow eluded him last time against them.
Barton Saint Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Time to just play a few different players and systems and have a bit of fun nothing to lose!

I can’t see what could possibly be fun about it. The one bit of dignity we’ve got left to lose this season is that we haven’t been on the end of any embarrassing score lines. You get a dozen or so 5-0s in every league, every season but if we start messing about with the team we could be on the wrong end of double figures.
Willo of Whiteley Posted April 17 Posted April 17 2-0 to West Ham. Same as the last match, hold them to a 0-0 until the 70th minute before a quick fire double.
macca155 Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Another likely defeat but I reckon Saints could squeeze a draw out of this. West Ham are playing with fire flirting with relegation. Almost certainly safe this year, but it doesn't bode well for next year. They'll be tense knowing full well that losing to Saints will be calamitous for their dignity. Nearly everybody else has handed us our arse, they'll want and should do the same. Saints have an opportunity to take advantage of that, and make life difficult for West Ham. A lot depends on whether our players put in a 'I'm in the shop window' performance, and Rusk keeps most of the subs on the bench. There were some good moments in the Palace and Villa game. Try and keep that going for 90 minutes. Not too much to ask is it.

Would be nice to get another record and be a part of history though. Something to make the season memorable, alongside the lowest points total and earliest relegation.

BarberSaint Posted Friday at 13:39 Posted Friday at 13:39 He'll do well against our midfield. Be interested in the match up between him and small bone. 2
Pamplemousse Posted Friday at 16:36 Posted Friday at 16:36 Having Downes back is a massive plus tbh. We are a far better team with him in it, even Juric realised that eventually, just way too late. 2
