Assume this is the match where JWP finally gets the free-kick goals record...?

#inevitable

P.s. will this be the first time he's played against us since leaving?

I thought that too. He's got to get it at some point and as Potter's playing him at least then there's a chance. We will also get to be involved with another record so can we get Cap'n Jack and Bedders to give away a lot of cheap free kicks in JWP territory?

Relegation 6 pointer. Could close the gap to 22 points with a win.

By relegation six pointer do you mean it's another chance for team at risk of relegation getting 6 points from us?

How many times do you see that happening? An ex-player turning it up a gear.

West Ham to win and JWP to score any time , how are the odds looking for that?

One more game we can cross off before most of these players become someone else's problem.

Whilst that's a comforting thought, the fear's got to be how many we'll actually manage to offload...

Can you imagine teams handing over actual money for some of the dross contracted to us? 😬

The talent pool's diluted further and further every season under SR...

We will be left with a load of shite, nobody will want them. Pray Russell Martin gets a job and comes back for his mates !

Who doesn't love a London away day, visiting some nice pubs and hopefully have some decent weather.

The football will be terrible, and probably a waste of time.  We'll probably sit in a low block again and get the pleasure of watching Onuachu bumbling about attempting to look like a footballer.

West Ham are rubbish so they might only win 2-0.

2nd goal will be JWP free-kick.

This leagues needs new writers.

JWP will give us a late penalty to get us a draw by jumping and catching a cross, thus Archer will step up and

Time to just play a few different players and systems and have a bit of fun nothing to lose!

I can’t see what could possibly be fun about it. The one bit of dignity we’ve got left to lose this season is that we haven’t been on the end of any embarrassing score lines. You get a dozen or so 5-0s in every league, every season but if we start messing about with the team we could be on the wrong end of double figures.

Another likely defeat but I reckon Saints could squeeze a draw out of this.

West Ham are playing with fire flirting with relegation. Almost certainly safe this year, but it doesn't bode well for next year.

They'll be tense knowing full well that losing to Saints will be calamitous for their dignity. Nearly everybody else has handed us our arse, they'll want and should do the same.

Saints have an opportunity to take advantage of that, and make life difficult for West Ham.

A lot depends on whether our players put in a 'I'm in the shop window' performance, and Rusk keeps most of the subs on the bench.

There were some good moments in the Palace and Villa game. Try and keep that going for 90 minutes. Not too much to ask is it.

Losing 5-0 at home to Brentford is an embarrassing scoreline.

Not in the grand scheme of things. It’ll have been forgotten by the rest of the footballing world in a couple of weeks, but if you’re on the wrong end of an 11-0, that sticks to you for decades.

Would be nice to get another record and be a part of history though. Something to make the season memorable, alongside the lowest points total and earliest relegation.

The occasion will be even more significant for him as it will also be his 400th career league appearance. Although "only" his 399th Premier League appearance.
