Each time I've walked out of the ground recently I've been thinking that I'm giving it a miss for a bit but I keep coming back. Feels a bit different this time now relegation is confirmed and with the change at the helm, it's all now about chipping away at worst points tag and building any kind of momentum for next season. I saw this on a group chat last night. Unai Emery was appointed in November 2022 as Villa manager. Very close to that date Nathan Jones was appointed for Saints. There was only three points between Saints and Villa in the table. Tonight one of those teams is in Champions League quarter final. What a shocking indictment of our ownership. 6
