Would be amazed if Will Still comes to the Championship now. Whoever Spurs poach from he’d be in the frame for a job like that - Palace, Fulham or (I feel a bit sick) Bournemouth. Or Leeds if they do the Farke thing.

Matter of opinions and perceptions, but I'd be surprised if an EPL team took a risk on him.

If Leeds get rid of Farke,  again I'd expect them to go for a name, or at least an experienced manager with a track record behind him.

And who can blame him. A huge part of their fanbase are now mobilised against "the despot" chansiri, the players aren't getting payed on time reliably, and the chairman behaves like he's unstable (blaming fans, the manager, and "declaring war" on saints... In a forum that was called last minute and went on past midnight πŸ˜…). Big fan protest planned for them this weekend I believe, and Simon Jordan is pimping them out to potential foreign owners...

A good reminder actually - as shit as things can be as saints, we don't have the Wednesday chairman for an owner πŸ₯³

Liam Rosenior signs new three-year deal with Strasbourg, so you can chalk him off if you thought he was a potential option

God damn, another 3 years of people posting his "amazing team talk in french".

It's like learning a language is an elite skill.

I can speak elvish and Klingon and still can't get love.

If we don’t know who we want by now then it’s going to be a long wait with a lot of the preparation time wasted.

Late July appointment of someone random, SR still have their grubby, meddling clueless hands on it.

I very much doubt it. Transfer window starts on 1st June and players will be in training at the start of July.

get Danny RΓΆhl done, ffs

Agree. He should be announced the day after the Arsenal game. Give him the whole summer and the whole transfer window. None of this β€˜waiting to pay less compo’ shit. He clearly will take the job, fucking get on with it.

Agreed. Bit concerned he'll go elsewhere though. Leeds have been mentioned on Wednesdays forum with Farke possibly being sacked. Then there's Leicester. Although I'm not convinced they have the finances to sack RvN then pay compo for Rohl.

That seems to be one person who’s mentioned Leeds, who also comes across a bit of a WUM. Leeds would be bonkers to sack Farke and employ Rohl.

Leicester seem financially struggling, though rules don’t apply to them so won’t stop them.

Wednesday fans seem to think he agreed to come here when we sacked Martin, but we didn’t agree the compo. Whether he’s still keen or that episode has cheesed him off who knows.

I still think Germany most likely for him.

Will Rohl’s previous time with Spors make a difference? Can’t help but think it will and to be fair to SR, if Rohl is the target they’ll push out to get him.

Last year we recieved our premier league status in the meeting on 6th june, assume similar timeframe to hand it back and become officially a championship club.

This point is only relevant if we are looking to employ a manager in the championship with a release clause.

I wouldn’t say there’s many luxury Chaampionship managers out there to be perfectly honest.

Danny Rohl is kind of the banker given comments, previous links etc.

But Jesus Christ he needs backing, his players bringing in, player buy in, fan buy in etc.

This team is so depleted of quality through constant fuckwit player purchases and loans that even Pep would struggle to get a tune out of this lot even in the championship.

I think that Sports Repubics/Dragan Solak KNOW that they have to get things right this time. This season is not a blip.....it is a disaster of the highest order. Tinkering with things is not going to be the answer. This situation needs a full reset. Whatever else, I don't think that Solak is stupid. he has just been relying on the wrong people.....people who have convinced him that they are really, really clever. It has to be hoped that he has at last seen through them, and is now using some of the nous that originally earned him his fortune.

Does that exonerate SR from stupidity ? No! What the fuck are they up to interviewing a manager for the future when the worst season in the clubs history is yet to be completed and there is a HUGE challenge facing the club prior to the new Championship season starting? The priorities for these clowns must be completely lost and it does not bode well for a decisive summer of activity appointing a decent new Manager AND sorting out more than half of a shit squad. Amateurs.

Be interested to see what happens after Sheff Weds final game next weekend. Will Rohl walk or has a deal been done for him to move somewhere else. He clearly knows he’s off and how told the club of his decision

MP, but that’s never going to happen in a million years.

Joey Barton, and I’m not joking would shake things up big style and is what we need. Especially with the skates games. Was great for Bristol Rovers, even though he divided the fans.

But long term not the way forward I know. I would love to see Joey have a go in the Championship with us.

Ralph for me perfect sensible return. Calm knows what he is doing and the club, and refreshed.

I hope we don’t go Rohl, Lampard, ect etc etc, just wrong choices again.

I just know I am getting pelters for JB suggestion, but Championship football one season to get back up, teach SR a few home truths. A perfect fit ?
