Lighthouse Posted April 3 Posted April 3 No matter how certain you think you are of a certain result, you can never actually be certain when it comes to Spurs…
Saint Fan CaM Posted April 3 Posted April 3 27 minutes ago, Lighthouse said: No matter how certain you think you are of a certain result, you can never actually be certain when it comes to Spurs… Who scored for Leicester? Do we have anyone as good? I don’t think so and consequently we’ll get roundly beaten once again to confirm relegation. Spurs are just too good for our team. 3-0…possibly 4-0.
Doctoroncall Posted April 4 Posted April 4 More likely to save Ange from being fired. can we get a draw?
Football Special Posted April 4 Posted April 4 They are fully focused on Europa league now Anyone who fancies joining in a protest they have one planned for Sunday, might go along for a laugh
Football Special Posted April 4 Posted April 4 I'd be up for swapping managers with them if they want 1

SW5 SAINT Posted April 4 Posted April 4 They also lost 2-1 at home to Ipswich, here’s hoping for a hatrick by the three promoted/relegated sides…! 1

Pamplemousse Posted April 4 Posted April 4 I think we'll lose but hopefully the performance will be similar to the one against Palace where we were competitive. I would love to win just to see the meltdown inside the stadium at full time. 1

die Mannyschaft Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Possible draw for Saints, best option 0-0. But the Palace game was a huge improvement. It's just when Jurrasic does subs then everything falls apart. Probably best if Spurs don't sack Posta before Sunday.
Football Special Posted April 4 Posted April 4 It surely can't be any worse than the home game can it? For me this was the low point of the season , don't think even Martin’s biggest fans could justify him staying in the job after this, first half was probably worst defending I've ever seen 1

Turkish Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Big Ange must be looking forward to getting back on track sunday. Have they got any players that haven't scored for ages? Get your money on a Spurs win with them to score. Easy money 1
macca155 Posted April 4 Posted April 4 I'm not so sure about the negativity for this game. There have definitely been some green shoots recently, and the defence is tighter. A draw is not unimaginable. No Downes is a pain and I guess Aribo will step in. Ramsdale KWP THB Berdarek Stephens Manning Fernades Ugochukwa Aribo Onuachu Sulemana

Saint_Jonny Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Has Son ever not scored against us when he's played? I'd be surprised if he hasn't. So you can start there, at least one goal to them before we've even started. Hopefully the improved performance on Wednesday gives the team some spirit to chalk up another point on Sunday and get us closer to our incredible target of 12 points for the season 🙏
Tom57 Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Onuachu is potentially out tomorrow, so I guess Archer or Dibling 😕 https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/news/article/onuachu-a-doubt-for-spurs
Midfield_General Posted April 4 Posted April 4 If we're losing, I wonder if Juric will literally run away at half time like Martin did in the home game? 2
Baird of the land Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Guess it helps saints that Spurs have even less time between games. Trusting this saints team to back one decent performance with another is really asking a lot.

So that’s four. Hope they take their foot off the pedal for the remaining seventy minutes Edited Saturday at 18:56 by Badger

They boo their team from the first whistle; Postecoglou finally snaps, and instructs the players to stage a sit-down protest. We eventually squeeze the ball into their empty net on 90+2, securing the points. Season over, and we can forget it ever happened. Easy. 1

Wade Garrett Posted Saturday at 16:06 Posted Saturday at 16:06 I have very low expectations for the outcome of this game.

Toussaint Posted Saturday at 22:28 Posted Saturday at 22:28 It’s not over, you doomsayers. All we have to do is win all our remaining games and the three above us lose all of theirs and we’re home and hosed. Come on chaps, let’s have some glass half full!

Lard Posted Sunday at 05:15 Posted Sunday at 05:15 However much Spurs have been utterly crap by their standards this season, I see nothing more than a heavy defeat for us. nothing but relegation confirmed today I strongly suspect. just want this embarrassing and abject season over. 1

TheAlehouseBrawlers Posted Sunday at 06:55 Posted Sunday at 06:55 Happy Relegation Day. No kidding, been painful getting here but the sun is shining and already looking forward to next season. If we get back up we can only hope lessons have been learned but probably wishful thinking. 1
OneMrsWallace Posted Sunday at 07:13 Posted Sunday at 07:13 When was the earliest confirmed relegation in the PL? Can we win that one too?

I think in terms of actual date Derby were relegated earlier but if we go down tomorrow it’ll be the earliest in terms of matches played. They were in ‘match week 32’ when they went down I believe and we’re in 31. 2
Killers Knee Posted Sunday at 07:44 Posted Sunday at 07:44 A day of sporting history with the current squad at Southampton being confirmed as the worst collection of players in the premiership history, then Ovechkin is set to break Wayne Gretsky‘s scoring record against the Islanders.
bangkoksaint Posted Sunday at 08:02 Posted Sunday at 08:02 Wow!! T minus 5 hours to KO and this thread hasn’t made it to a second page yet. This apathy should be an alarming signal to the club as to how important what they do and say post match (assuming and expecting we lose) until the end of the season is. Get it wrong and this hangover will go into next season and we could be the next Luton Town.
