So as I calculate it, we can be relegated by this Sunday evening. 

If we lose against Palace tonight, Wolves beat Ipswich on Saturday, and then we lose against Spurs on Sunday, then we'll be on 9 points and Wolves will be on 32 points, meaning we'll be 23 points behind them with only 7 games/ 21 points left to play for. 

I think that would set another exciting new PL record, as no-one's been relegated before with seven left to play? Derby went down earlier by date in 2007/8 (they went down on the 29th March), but only had six matches left at that point. Huddersfield also went down earlier by date in 2018/19 (30th March), but they also had six left.  

Roy Castle would be proud of this side.

6 more defeats needed to break that record, we're well capable of that

a few more heavy defeats and we can break the worst goal difference too we're on -49 record is -69 so 21 needed, should be easily doable with 9 games left but we're currently on course for -64 on current form so the lads need to sort this one out

Was it Forest who got relegated with three to play and then won all of the last three? 

I always remember when we played Derby last day of the season years ago, when we were comfortably safe and they'd already been relegated, and they pumped us 6-1

I think of my poor, Norwich supporting dad, who watched his team collapse towards the end of seasons, getting relegated with barely a whimper.

If you have to be relegated, this is the way to do it. Remember it is the hope that kills. We have had no hope since the Advent calendars appeared. No heart breaking moments like we endured in 2005. No endless analysis of the fixture list working out possible permutations. 

Being so crap means that we have been able to prepare for life in the Championship for several months now. Every cloud has a silver lining. 😁

I think in our first relegation from the old First Division, we were already down when we went to Goodison Park, scene of our normal defeats, and won 3-0!!

Perhaps we could do something similar and spoil the last game at Goodison, this season.

Just imagine it – and the terrifying bit is we're entirely capable of making it happen. If that nightmare actually unfolded, it should warrant a lifetime ban from top-tier football.

I think that's a brilliant idea. But not just U16, we have to make sure to go the whole hog so that we can hold onto that record for ever.

I don't think relegation being "confirmed" will makes any difference.

It was confirmed before kick off last night, it was confirmed before we kicked off against Wolves. No one went into those games thinking we could still stay up.

I hate this group of players so much (with some notable exceptions - Ramsdale, Fernandes and KWP).

Lazy pricks don’t break a sweat and have no pride in themselves.  We deserve to be the worst team in Premier League history.

Spors needs to get busy.  Move the shite out and get players in that will play for the shirt.  A competent manager would also be nice.
