Lighthouse Posted Saturday at 09:32 Posted Saturday at 09:32 Let's get another one out of the way then.
Sarnia Cherie Posted Saturday at 10:43 Posted Saturday at 10:43 Mateta will be through our defence like a knife through butter. As usual, I shall hope for the best. expect the worst and hope this break has Juric coming up with an inspiring line-up. 4
Football Special Posted Saturday at 10:51 Posted Saturday at 10:51 We've had a nice long rest. Palace play away at Fulham today in a tough cup 1/4 final We were unlucky to lose 2-1 away at Palace Any chance we could get a point?

Started the game well but they were better than us for 65 odd minutes of the game. I think this will be a comfortable win for them. 2-0 loss.

I think they had something like 20 shots and 10 on target.

Thinking about running a sweepstake with my mates on how many full backs Juric picks this time 😉 1
Challenger Posted Saturday at 13:56 Posted Saturday at 13:56 Palace, like the majority of sides in this league would easily beat our team of no hopers even if they all took the field with their bollocks in a rat trap. 4 1
die Mannyschaft Posted Saturday at 14:30 Posted Saturday at 14:30 Fulham bit useless v Palace with side passing and too scared to take players on and they are 8th. Unless Saints get a load of decent crosses in, dribble passed Palace defender/midfield it's unlikely for a draw. Let's hope Jurasic puts all defenders upfront and strikers at back as at least it would be something different. Got my West Ham away ticket as that's the game we will pick 3 points.
East Kent Saint Posted Saturday at 16:38 Posted Saturday at 16:38 A strange first half , it looked like there were too many players on the pitch and no place to play the ball . Good goals though , I don't fancy our chances although that's normal this season. 1
Willo of Whiteley Posted Saturday at 17:51 Posted Saturday at 17:51 Two and a half weeks to get a proper formation and a proper starting eleven pencilled in. Liklihood of no striker, maybe Dibling and Fernandes not in the squad, Sugawara starting and Bree at CB, rather high I would say. Mateta will carve through like a knife through butter. I can see Eze running the show and Essé (?) becoming the Olise replacement in this game. 3-0 defeat. The fact the club are still trying to flog adult tickets for £25-30 is hilarious.
Saint Fan CaM Posted Saturday at 17:54 Posted Saturday at 17:54 We will lose - reckon 3-0. No respite.
Galway saint Posted Saturday at 18:02 Posted Saturday at 18:02 Obviously we will lose but I'm going for Saints having 4 shots with 2 on target and 3 corners.. Lets go Saints !!

LGTL Posted Saturday at 19:28 Posted Saturday at 19:28 Palace in excellent form, whereas I expect our bunch of idiots have been sat on a beach for 3 weeks. 0-3. 1

In my eyes, Palace have always been the yo-yo club and they were miles better. From memory, the main difference was speed, but hey ho, that's a recurring problem.

Andrew Watson Posted Sunday at 00:01 Posted Sunday at 00:01 0 - 3, they played well in the cup today. Eze and Sarr will tear us to bits.
Appy Posted Sunday at 00:26 Posted Sunday at 00:26 They haven’t conceded away from home since December or lost away since October, bodes well. 1 2

Pamplemousse Posted Sunday at 13:19 Posted Sunday at 13:19 The players don't care and the manager is an idiot. We have no chance. 4
OneMrsWallace Posted Sunday at 15:33 Posted Sunday at 15:33 Wash, rinse, repeat. They create 10 gilt edged chances but only take 5. We do almost nothing of consequence except for a late strike when there's only three minutes left and Palace are half asleep. Long way of saying 5-1 to them. 1

Mr X Posted Sunday at 17:26 Posted Sunday at 17:26 It's totally embarrassing even the teams in 19th and 18th have opened up an eight point gap yes Leicester and Ipswich are that much better! I maintain that we probably won't get another point this season unless something drastically changes and why would it? three points are needed not to be oficially worst premier league team ever!
woodsaint1 Posted Sunday at 17:30 Posted Sunday at 17:30 Be good if fans stayed away. This team doesnt deserve any support and there is definitely no 'entertainment' being served up 1

If we can maintain that gap, we'll have improved on last season when Leicester were 10 points, and Ipswich 9 points better! 🙂 Now, could you stand on the end of that straw to make it easier for me to clutch it, please? 😑 3

It's tough enough being sent out against teams overwhelmingly better than you every week, without your own fans turning on you. It's the decision makers who left us rudderless in the summer transfer window who deserve our ire. 5

We're more likely to turn on them watching the shite that they and Juric will serve up. Continuing to turn up in our droves and happy clapping is an interesting method of displaying our anger to those decision makers. And as if the players give a fuck....just like the 22/23 season about 90% of them will be queuing up with their agents come May time to get off the sinking ship as quick as they can - not that many of them will be missed 1

How many of these players will feature in a Prem team after being an integral part of the worst side in Prem history? I mean, it’s pretty bleak isn’t it? Effort without skill will not be enough to get them a Prem contract if the buying club does it’s proper due diligence and is not desperate. KWP and Rambo…the only two players who have shown their true Prem credentials. Maybe Fernandes and Dibling might get their moves but they’ll likely be bench warmers or “ones for the future”. I’ll be flabbergasted if any of the others return to the Prem. Oh the score? Not sure I care - it’s very likely to be a drubbing, so let’s be optimistic and say 0-2. Zorba Posted yesterday at 00:21 Posted yesterday at 00:21 1-3. Palace will rest a few and we’ll go in 1-0 up at half time. We’ll plan on defending our undeserved lead for 45 minutes but Palace will bring on the first team and we’ll get dicked! #WeAllKnowWhatsComingButWeStillWatchOn 1

The good news is, I suspect that record will be broken again soon, what with the gulf between the leagues being so big. One day a team will come up via the play offs as we did who finished lower than us and will be beaten literally every single game. 1
