We've had zero uplift from Juric, apart from the first half against WHU. Don’t agree that Juric was nailed on for the job. If rumours and noises are to be believed we were sounding out others but knocked back due to the perilous state we were in.

I perceive it to be pretty obvious that it is now extremely difficult to stay in the Prem if promoted unless you make some very good signings of underalued or undiscovered players

The fact that Leicester are struggling despite having possibly the best squad of the promoted sides pretty much confirms this.

WE have to face some extremely talented players almost every week and have not enough talented players to win.

it is pointless blaming or vilifying individual players when they are just not as good as the opposition it's not really their fault

i feel sorry for my grandson who was really  excited at the beginning of the season and had an Adam Armstrong shirt bought for him

I rather hope he will support his nearest good club Arsenal as its an easy train ride away.

I thought I had had experienced all the emotions possible in 65 years of following Saints but no season has come near to the disappointment and apathy I feel now. I don't even bother watching MOTD most weeks now. 

There is an interesting article saying the Pep system doesn't work any more against fast breaking teams.

Anyway Inow I've got that off my chest I've given up on this season

In short though, agree £ has been the ruination of many of our sports. Rugby be used to be a good day, and quite refreshing change from  atmosphere and commercialism at football in the 80’s ( albeit already the days of shamatuerism) , but now following many of the sanitised commercial traits of football.

Wouldn’t you rather he followed Cambridge Utd* or a proper club if not Saints ?

I think so plus the conditioning of the players in Rugby mean it can't be played  safely combined with the endless subs pitting fresh players against knackered players.

Ratcliffe exposes the problem with the Premier league too much money required to survive let alone compete in the league.

I reckon he saved at least 4 certain goals added to the 3 in the previous game v Bournemouth.
These were of the category of Shilton & Niemi.
Wonder what the score would have been with our other 'keepers in goal.
No chance of him being here next season. Just hope he has increased his value.

As we've heard since, Rohl was our top choice but we weren't prepared to pay the compo that Sheff Wednesday wanted.

He lives very close to Royston so its very easy by train

Besides which he'd have just as much disappointment if he followed Cambridge,

unfortunately their glory days were when my son was very young and we went very often

He may even watch a few wins with Arsenal

I never thought I'd say this but as his other grandparents are moving away from Bournemouth a trip to watch Saints is prohibitevly

Rohl's Sheffield Wednesday team have only won 1 of their 10 games since then. The way they're going, he could be sacked at the end of the season, so no compo will be required.

I've been impressed with him all season, as most Saints will have been, but yesterday took my appreciation to another level. His speed off the line, ability to get down and massive physical presence was on another level to what I've seen in a Saints shirt for a long long time. How annoying is it to finally sort out the keeper position only for him to likely depart on relegation?
