This is clearly where the club are going wrong. We do have 'We march on', but I'm not sure that is really utilised in the way other clubs have. For example:

Liverpool have 'You'll Never Walk Alone'

Everton have 'Nil Satis, Nisi Optimum'

Spurs have 'To dare is to do'.

What should Saints have? We need something distinctive that will enhance our global brand across the world.

Why is anything more than 'We march on' needed?

I thought our opening gambit a few years ago … something to the effect of : Founded on faith was a good line harking back to our origins.

From more recent times:

We don’t do failure - we breed it, it’s in our DNA

and from an online Latin translator:

Muppetrium abundat

or

Nostrum muppetrium limites non novit.

translated as:

Muppetry abounds

or

Our muppetry knows no limits

await a Latin scholar to correct this, just taken from the internet.

Good call. How about:

Founded on faith, drowning in despair

In case anyone is wondering, the Everton one translates as "No dugouts, no success."

For us,

"If it's not broken, break it." in tribute to Rasmus and our SR owners.

We march on is fucking shit.

What about ‘buy low, sell high’.  Encapsulates our owners priorities for perfectly.

Still makes me think of Leeds more than us, even after all these years.

Maybe our new motto should be “kids, choose a different club to support, you’ll thank us later”

If at first you don't succeed...

Our song would be Aaliyah's Try Again. You know that song is now in your heads right?

I guess if you’re talking in WW1 terms it’s very apt.

When thought you’d broken it send it to the Hadron Collider, there is always room for further breaking.

We lose again.

We don't breed success, we buy failures.

Buy high, can't give away.

Southampton - Pride of the unashamedly incompetent.

The Goldmine Effect or Go to Yosemite and spend the rest of your life looking for something that isn't there.

Yo!

Yo!

No suchi luck.
