In my over fifty years of supporting saints and going to games I cannot think of a game I have looked forward to less.

This season has been awful and have had to spend most games watching and listening to the away fans celebrating in front of us. Roll on May.

Still I expect to renew next year, does anyone know of any help groups that can help with this addiction.

You're a lost cause, mate, like the rest of us.

I’m looking forward to our home win today. Start of a roll, thump Bournemouth this week, Brighton next weekend and the great escape is no longer just a pipe dream.

Unless there is a huge turnaround in our tactics and passing side and back 0-6.

I was thinking Saints 1-0 as this is Bompey's fa cup final, thier biggest away day.

This game is NOT a local derby Wimborne FC are there rivals. Another set of irritating fans to see at the station god help us.

I think passing side and back can effectively avoid a heavy defeat, though a defeat is inevitable

65 years for me and I know the feeling for the first time. Notice that the Leicester fans are planning a protest at todays game against Arsenal. No whiff of anything similar from our fans. Just had the stuffing completely knocked out of us.....

Can't see that we've got an earthly against this lot, especially if they score first,  expecting nothing but self destruct and home made carnage. Again.

Can't imagine there will be anything similar at SMS later

Leicester fans are protesting against the person in charge of recruitment John Rudkin. Why would Saints fans do that on Johannes Spors first day in the job?

Leicester fans are doing more that protesting against one person. The whole thing is called Project Reset and asks for more than getting rid of Rudkin.  You can learn more about it here.

The main focus is Rudkin, he is the one with the hashtag and clown picture on the van.

Our 'project reset' has already happened! Solak taking over as chairman and Spors taking charge of football decisions. So why would you protest when changes have only just happened? Why not wait and see if they work out? Today is Spors first day in his job. He has not had a transfer window.

No Kayi Sanda in the squad after all. Not playing Lesley for Smallbone seems crazy to me. Dibling should be starting too.

He is with the squad and he is the outfield +1 in the matchday group, in case of injury during warm-ups.

Juric has out-shitted Russell Martin with that lineup.  What a fucking prick.  No chance of me eating any humble pie at 5 o’clock - they’ll batter us.

Another quality appointment from the SR circus.  I hope to fuck there’s a break clause in his contract.

Jesus H Christos Jr the Third. Awful line up again. I know we're somewhat stuffed in midfield but seriously Smallbone is not the Premier League answer. I just want a manager that stops playing a back 3.

I want us to win today, beat that lot down the road, but I'm not confident with that line up.

Thanks you've given us a chance, the match day gods always look for predictions like this, thank you for your service.

3 full backs on the pitch, 3 on the bench. Excellent stuff.

Can’t wait to see what we do with this in the second half! The 6 fullback shuffle and they won’t know what hit them!

Unbelievable that they've managed to find someone else who rates Smallbone - the odds must have been 1000000/1.

Juric is totally clueless - I hope to god he is not in charge come August.  I can only imagine how horrific his recruitment would look like.  Probably buy 10 full backs and play them all every game.

What a disgusting team.

honestly this is the saints version of the maginot line, they are going to just run around them

That comparison doesn't really work, as the Maginot line was an extremely well-fortified defence (that the Germans went around). Which is the strong part Bournemouth will avoid?

Looking forward to seeing (again) our rigid man-marking system, leaving wide open spaces in midfield

Stuff of dreams

Good grief. Bournemouth away Martin selects a line up and formation that was so incoherent and nonsensical it looked like a wino from Hoglands Park had made it. Six months later a new manager does the same, possibly even worse actually.

Against possibly the highest energy midfield in the league we pick a 9 stone kid and someone who isn’t a strong runner or tracker.

Need to start again in the summer.

We are definitely going to lose, and lose more badly than any other football club have lost in the history of humanity.

With Smallbone in the starting 11, how could we not.

Will be a fucking Rugby score. Where they are the All-Blacks and we are an eight year old child holding a small quiche.

If Rasmus and Spores told Juric that they had put £10k per person on 0-6 to Bournemouth at 12/1 and make sure that happens so we get our payout, that’s the team and formation you’d pick.
