Andrew Watson Posted February 15 Posted February 15 One goal less defeat than I expected, does not lessen the total feelings of apathy, numbness and inevitability I have felt since day one though. Surely some one has to be accountable for the extremely run down state of the club . 3

Hamwic Posted February 15 Posted February 15 Our distribution was terrible while Boscombe were fast and accurate. Add in the apparent gulf in quality of the two sides players, it is surprising that it was only 1-3. 1

This guy has a decent CV, not sure what level you expect us to attract given our current position of yo-yo club? Multi club model experience makes him a good fit too. 1
bpsaint Posted February 15 Posted February 15 Had the misfortune of going today. Honestly all those season ticket holders that paid a lot of money to watch the shite all year deserve a free ticket next season. How they still turn up and sing for these cunts is beyond me. Hope Jurić doesn’t get that contract extension, his setup is as shite as RM, and he deserves the sack for today’s starting XI alone. The cheer when Smallbones number came up in the board should have told him all he needs to know about our feelings in his selections. Harsh on Will but the lad should be nowhere near a Premier League team. Cant wait to see the back of 90% of this team. 18
Pamplemousse Posted February 15 Posted February 15 We were OK in the second half. First half was utterly useless stuff. I still feel we are much more competitive under Juric, we just need to give him the players. 3
Charlie Wayman Posted February 15 Posted February 15 We must applaud our new found consistency. Not many teams can claim to be beaten by 3 or more goals week after week. Well done Juric for bringing that level of performance to our team.
rallyboy Posted February 15 Posted February 15 A word about the fantastic Bournemouth support, I can't remember another team bringing every single member of their entire fanbase to an away game, great effort. 2 17

In fact, the last time we were beaten by 3 or more goals was 4th January. Apart from that, good point... 2 5

Great player and loyal servant but is now absolutely shocking and a total liability. Have to disagree with you about KWP although Ramsdale got him out of jail with the terrific save from his header. Saints are basically an average Championship side with a couple of players that are Prem quality. The team seem slower, very much less organised than almost all the other teams in the Prem and the difference in quality seems to be growing week by week. For what it is worth, here's my players ratings: 1. RAMSDALE 9 Three outstanding saves and no chance with the goals 2. BREE 5 An average performance 3. WELINGTON 5.5 Presume he was injured so taken off at HT 4. KWP 5 Thought he was OK but marked down a half point for the header back to Ramsdale 5. BEDNERAK 6 Won most of his battles against a tricky and speedy opponent 6. WOOD 3.5 Looked completely out of his depth which is quite worrying 7. SMALLBONE 3 I feel sorry for him but he was useless. 8. FERNANDES 6.5 Once again our best outfield player. Shame he wont be with us next season 9. TALL PAUL 4.5 Cant see what he offers to the attack 10. ARIBO 5 Like the majority of our squad, Championship standard. 11. SULEMANA 5.5 He definitely has talent but needs to learn to use it in the right way. Took his goal well. 12.UGOCHUKWU 4.5 An improvement on Smallbone but Chelsea were mugged if they paid £22m for him 13. SUGAWARA 4 Meh!! 14. DIBLING 4.5 Did a couple of nice runs but still poor in the defensive part of the game 15. MANNING ? Was he on the pitch 16. ARCHER ? Ditto MANAGER 3 Initial thoughts that he and his staff might improve on the previous Management team. Unfortunately we seem to be getting worse!! Edited February 15 by spyinthesky 3

Time will tell, his early CV is good albeit he didn't stick around anywhere for very long, but his time with 777 partners is nothing to get tremendously excited about, they gambled on him bringing success through a multi club moneyball project (sound familiar ???) and it failed, but then they've had other problems to contend with.
Miltonaggro Posted February 15 Posted February 15 First half dogshit, we looked rather like Sunderland the year they went down in apathy and feared a cricket score. Second half we were in it and I think a fair result would have been 2-2, but we simply cannot finish, it’s almost bizarre to see saints players twisting and turning in the 18 yard box to avoid shooting on goal. Clown show. Didn’t think Bournemouth were all that, but did a fair impression of a Strachan SFC side, fitter than us, prepared to fight, and clearly a team ethic - we are missing all three of those necessary attributes currently. Tedious watching this bollocks every week. 5
Convict Colony Posted Saturday at 18:30 Posted Saturday at 18:30 Glad i missed the game based on reports.
beatlesaint Posted Saturday at 18:39 Posted Saturday at 18:39 I’ll be generous and assume Big Les wasn’t fit enough to play 90 minutes cos I cannot see for the life of me why we start with probably the worst midfield two the premier league has ever seen from any team in Aribo and Smallbone. To play those two against a team that breaks quickly like Bournemouth was beyond belief. Aribo’s a better central defender than central midfield while Smallbone is a big pussy. 7
Wade Garrett Posted Saturday at 18:39 Posted Saturday at 18:39 KWP first half, Aribo second half, time and space in the box and neither of them fucking shoot. They still think they’re playing MartinBall. Ridiculous. I can’t see what we are trying to do. It just looks chaotic to me, and once again, we were totally out worked. Fernandes was good, but he can’t do it on his own. Selection of the team today was an absolute joke. Looking forward to the Summer. 5
Lord Duckhunter Posted Saturday at 18:41 Posted Saturday at 18:41 Well, that was expected… The only positive first half was we didn’t collapse as we have done so many times. Second half a lot better, bit more aggression and some more urgency. Good 10/15 mins where it looked like we had some momentum, but that was about the only time the result was in any doubt. Ramsdale excellent. Tall Paul did OK against a good central two. TD & Big Les made a difference, MF good again. Janny B got schooled first half, but better second. Smallbone embarrassing….. 9

Yeah Juric said he needed a rest. Imagine the team that started the second half will be the XI against Brighton, unless THB is back. 1
die Mannyschaft Posted Saturday at 18:43 Posted Saturday at 18:43 Juric out and quickly this is shit football. Negative rubbish for 70 mins mist games how can you win games with 1 or 2 shots? Why can't Saints players run as a unit. Can't defend, passing terrible in own box, just hoof ball clear.

Niggly fouls that break up the opposition, faked a few injuries whilst we were trying to build up a head of steam. Their fans were pretty quiet even when they scored. 1

Maybe, but from where I was watching (behind the goal) if we had a forward who could finish we’d have been back on terms before their screamer went in down the other end. Didn’t think they were all that. 2
davefizzy14 Posted Saturday at 19:58 Posted Saturday at 19:58 (edited) 1st half today was poor second half we were much better, more on the front foot. Obviously bringing on Lesley (why didn't he start?, he's been one of our best players in recent months) and Dibling helped us massively. We pulled one back through a lovely finish from Sulemana. We had the momentum to then go on. But the third goal we concede was totally avoidable, we got caught high up in our own half. Fernandes was immense yet again today, he is some player. Ramsdale made at least two unbelievable saves. Really frustrating today. Edited Saturday at 19:59 by davefizzy14 3
