It won't take much to be better than our centre backs. I'm surprised that this is the position we have gone for given our lack of goal threat but I suppose we leak like a sieve as well.

Goodness knows what ABK has to do to get a start. 

All I can think of he is going to play v Burnley by which time it’s too late. Or maybe he is going to play for rest of season. We know Jack Stephens limitations but he got on the pitch no problem for Ivan yet ABK must feel like Johnny no mates. A wealthy Johnny no mates I might add getting paid a shedload of money each week NOT to play. And that grates. 
 

Trying to sell a player who reputedly has a shocking attitude is twice as hard when he does not even play reserve team. If he cannot get on when all our CB’s are crocked it really does not look good.
 

Getting a valuation on him is like pick a number time. Is it his potential? What he did three years ago? Can we really believe he is so bad neither RM nor Ivan will touch him yet he is still sellable ? Only the most desperate will even try to do it. If he was at a French Club I’ve no doubt Saints would be signing him at 22.59 tonite though! We cannot even give him away it seems. Wotchagonnado ???

Bets of luck to the lad. Its a very tough position to play in the modern game. I hope we have got ourselves a gem.

He only got a cameo this season to show prospective buyers he was fit to play, after the failed medical.

We'd not have seen him otherwise.

From his appearances, it's not raw talent that's the issue.

But if his attitude and professionalism is in doubt, then others are going to always be ahead of him. No manager here rates him.

The club clearly want him gone, and that can have a bearing too. He still has an accounting value, so they will look for something back, until that's no longer the case

His PL and Championship wages are a massive incentive to stay, and limit suitors too.

Probably agreed to the loan but as soon as we tried to include an option to buy he ran for the hills. 😁

Hadn’t heard of him until the last 24 hours so won’t lose any sleep over him not signing.

The loan with option in our position isn’t a great arrangement. Likelihood is if shows anything of note and we want to sign him,he’d piss off somewhere else in the EPL.

We’ve brought in some very poor players but so far I’ve seen nothing to suggest we’re naive when it comes to actually seeing a deal through. It would seem Sylla had a range of options on the table and has chosen Parma. It happens.
