Grobbelaar kept us in it after Kitson’s overhead kick put them ahead and after Simon Charlton whacked a free kick against the bar we were pouring forward and Newcastle cracked in the final dramatic minutes. I can see my teenage self in the clip of the third goal in the Archers. That stupid tannoy announcement telling the Archers to sit down fired up the crowd a treat which all helped the momentum swing.
