Chez Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Gutted. Losing Dibling and then players tiring forcing subs has hurt us. 4
manji Posted January 16 Posted January 16 2 minutes ago, trousers said: Genuine question manji: what qualities do you think Smallbone has that have had a positive effect on this game? Slamming Smallbone might make you feel better . It’s fucking obvious for Juvic and his team it’s learning. Like I’ve just said if they don’t rate Smallbone he won’t be here next season. How the feck some of you lot can’t see the bigger picture amazes me. 1 2
stknowle Posted January 16 Posted January 16 The air of inevitability of it…….is there to be no end to this fucking misery. 1
OttawaSaint Posted January 16 Posted January 16 This is mostly on Sulemana. Non-league finishing skills. 1
Lee On Solent Saint Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Not sure the subs were necessary to be honest. Made us weaker as they have most times this season. 4

No, we're down because we had a manager that wasn't able to get a tune out of these players. Play like tonight for the first half of the season and we pick up more than 6 points... 13

OttawaSaint Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Hits Downes and goes wide. That's our luck in a nutshell. 1
macca155 Posted January 16 Posted January 16 The substitutions have been disastrous. Once again the weakness of our squad has ruined what has actually been a decent performance. 3
gammon cheeks Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Don't really understand Smallbone coming on ..offered zilch ! 2
John Boy Saint Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Fuckng he’ll pull the pin out of the grenade and drop it down the front of your pants

He's always been shit, what's he going to learn by giving him a chance? Oh for fuck sake. What a waste of 60 minutes of great work that was. 6

For the best part of 70 mins we were miles better....of course united missed a couple of chances (1 sitter), that will usually happen at OT. Then we let in a Russell Martin-esq goal
obelisk Posted January 16 Posted January 16 THB. Oh dear. Thinks he's playing RussBall. That just sums this lot up. 1
Bobsmith Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Manager responsible for our great play for 60 minutes, followed by the worst substitutes imaginable. Partly due to our terrible squad but Smallbone, Armstrong and Wood were all atrocious decisions. 3

Toussaint Posted January 16 Posted January 16 At least Juric now knows that his squad players are absolutely terrible. I’d be surprised if we see a Smallbone too often. 1
chownie20 Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Sorry but I'm with others on Smallbone. He doesn't even have the ability to sprint on the press. 7

Mr X Posted January 16 Posted January 16 We were decent for an hour but this bunch will go down as literally the worst bunch of players the premier league has ever seen! 1

Edmonton Saint Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Terrible game management from Juric. We had full control of the midfield until Smallbone came on. And then Juric compounded the decision by bringing on another non entity in Armstrong shortly after. Not sure why Bednarek came off either .. just baffling decisions . 1

BotleySaint Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Still on course for a record breaking season. Lowest points total Least goals scored Most goals conceded Earliest relegation. Most defeats Hard to see anything else happening really. 1
SambaMaverick Posted January 16 Posted January 16 I thought it at the time but signing for this club is the worst possible thing Ramsdale could have done

Convict Colony Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Honestly if sullemana could finish he'd be diallo.
Saint_clark Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Hopefully we never see Smallbone or Armstrong again. 2

Not sacking said manager after the Bournemouth game when everyone else (with the exception of Fabrice, gio and lighthouse) could see he was out of his depth ultimately cost us.
beatlesaint Posted January 16 Posted January 16 This is the problem with the fitness, as they tire the subs who are weaker come on and it falls apart. Smallbone and Downes have been a disaster here ! 2
madge Posted January 16 Posted January 16 There’s some players that shouldn’t be anywhere the starting line up.. smallbone terrible… don’t get the bednarek change either.. but walker peters doesn’t know how to defend!!! He’s culpable for 2 of those goals 1
