For me it's more about the state of football in general, not just the state of southampton. Var, ffp, European super league.

Teams like southampton have never got a hope of doing anything great, maybe a league cup victory at some point in the next 30 years is as much as I can hope for.

Leicester won the blooming league. Forrest beat Liverpool next week and they are challenging for the title. You can always dream...

Then people wonder why the FA Cup has lost some of its ‘magic’. This is another reason.

Last season at Watford the draw was known shortly after HT. Spoilt the game for me, what was the point of getting a midweek tie away at Liverpool?

I agree , it's crazy we'll probably find out at half time again

Can't get the Skates now either they've fallen at the first hurdle, saw one of their muppets comment online "pleased we're out, need to concentrate 100%on staying up and getting to beat the scummers next season"

Pathetic.

Leicester was before ffp took hold and forest have been in and out of ffp sanctions since they were promoted. Smaller clubs will be even smaller and the big clubs will be even bigger in the years to come.

Yeah as fans you can dream but the older you get the more you realise football is now a business and a unfair one at that.

Sure money talks and the big clubs really have it sewn up. That fact still remains, Forest are in the title race, proving that smaller size clubs can challenge, all be it probably only for a short period. Leicester and them give me a little hope. Unfortunately, we (and may others) have not got it right over the last half decade or more, but that doesn't mean we can't.  One day rodders...

That's hardly an incentive to win, is it?

It's from the 2017/18 season when we lost 0-1 to Man City and Mark Hughes kept us up isn't it, I wonder what Myfanwy is up to now and whether she'll be at the game tomorrow?

That is absolutely disgusting, I mean who in hell would want to live in Port Talbot ?

If refering to Saints and 9-0 defeats the girl probably regrets not supporting Leicester or Man U instead.

Leicester also won the FA Cup recently. In fact,  5 different teams have won the FA Cup in the last 5 years. It's as wide open as it's been for years. Bournemouth are 20/1 to win it this year and I wouldn't be surprised to see Forest do at least as well in both the league and cup as Saints did in 1984.

If I were the new manager and everyone was fit I'd like to see this in a 442 style with Dibling and Fernandes pushing up...

Ramsdale

KWP THB ABK Taylor

Dibling Downes Lesley Fernandes

Onuachu Archer

I'd like to see this one day but I doubt we ever will with a manager who still wants to play 5 at the back. And yes I know there are question marks over ABK but he's probably still our best CB on paper at least.

Against Swansea? God knows. But we've got bugger all to play for in the League so I hope Juric goes for it with a strong team.

I think this is our strongest starting XI

There will be plenty more 5-0 losses if we continue to only play with two CM's.

Myfanwy is now head of strategic thinking at the Liberty heavily connected to our recruitment policy.

...

Hope Lucy Pinder had Lego checked for STDs after his time in Swansea if Myfanwy and her ‘offer’ of an incentive scheme is anything to go by.

This happens every year, the Forest thing. By the end of the season they will end up 6 - 10th. There is always a smaller club riding high, only to fade away later. Cup win is possible for them.

Oh god. It's match day again.

It's taken over from Monday morning as being the worst time of the week. How depressing.

Heading out for the day with the family instead. Sports Republic have had more than enough of my money.

If I feel the need to inject some misery into the day I'll tune in to Adam and Jo when we're driving home.

I was considering travelling down for the game today having missed the Brentford game due to weather threat and a two hour drive each way. The deciding factor was the ticket price, £22.50 which is taking the piss given the time of match, and most of all how we’ve been playing. Bollocks to that. I’ve wasted enough on a ST.

I'll be watching on an illegal stream which costs me absolutely nothing, and I'm debating if it's worth my time. Imagine spending actual money on this :spaz:
