Can't get the Skates now either they've fallen at the first hurdle, saw one of their muppets comment online "pleased we're out, need to concentrate 100%on staying up and getting to beat the scummers next season"

Leicester was before ffp took hold and forest have been in and out of ffp sanctions since they were promoted. Smaller clubs will be even smaller and the big clubs will be even bigger in the years to come. 

Yeah as fans you can dream but the older you get the more you realise football is now a business and a unfair one at that.

Sure money talks and the big clubs really have it sewn up. That fact still remains, Forest are in the title race, proving that smaller size clubs can challenge, all be it probably only for a short period. Leicester and them give me a little hope. Unfortunately, we (and may others) have not got it right over the last half decade or more, but that doesn't mean we can't.  One day rodders...

Leicester also won the FA Cup recently. In fact,  5 different teams have won the FA Cup in the last 5 years. It's as wide open as it's been for years. Bournemouth are 20/1 to win it this year and I wouldn't be surprised to see Forest do at least as well in both the league and cup as Saints did in 1984.

I'd like to see this one day but I doubt we ever will with a manager who still wants to play 5 at the back. And yes I know there are question marks over ABK but he's probably still our best CB on paper at least. 

Against Swansea? God knows. But we've got bugger all to play for in the League so I hope Juric goes for it with a strong team.

This happens every year, the Forest thing. By the end of the season they will end up 6 - 10th. There is always a smaller club riding high, only to fade away later. Cup win is possible for them.

Heading out for the day with the family instead. Sports Republic have had more than enough of my money.

If I feel the need to inject some misery into the day I'll tune in to Adam and Jo when we're driving home.

I was considering travelling down for the game today having missed the Brentford game due to weather threat and a two hour drive each way. The deciding factor was the ticket price, £22.50 which is taking the piss given the time of match, and most of all how we’ve been playing. Bollocks to that. I’ve wasted enough on a ST.

I'll be watching on an illegal stream which costs me absolutely nothing, and I'm debating if it's worth my time. Imagine spending actual money on this :spaz:

Saints 4/5 to win, so on paper we have bagged a win. This will be a good test to see if the team are strong and aggressive enough to compete in championship.  Of course less the player who will leave but will indicate level of player to replace. It could be another 5 nil loss but that's very very unlikely!!

Channel 936 on Sky stream I believe.if my memory serves me correctly   Checked this morning. Definitely available.

I looked at a few other clubs, Norwich charged a tenner v Brighton, Coventry charged £13 v Sheff Wed, does feel like Saints went too high, both teams have to agree on price still? Maybe Swansea played hard as still want more compo for Russ

Shortish journey for me...not sure what team we will put out. We do have some exciting young players who need some experience and a chance.

 

Fearing we will use our fringe players who haven't had proper game time and get rolled over easily 

 

South Wales derby on Saturday so I think we will rotate ready for that game.

I was expecting £10-15 which I think is consistent with early rounds of League Cup (as I still call it). As you say may be Swansea not accepting a reduction, although seems self defeating if true, and hits their supporters as well as ours.

The  pricing is disappointing,  but closing the Kingsland....the biggest stand which is also where many ST holders go..... is a bigger mistake IMO. I am going , but it nearly put me off,  sitting away from my usual neighbours and having to walk further round the ground etc.
