Just got to say thanks for everything you do on this forum. Not having it for a couple of days feels like someone has removed part of me! Having said that it was maybe lucky that it was down yesterday!!

Was it coincidence that the site crashed at the same time as our worst performance since .......🤔

Joking aside, thanks to owners of the forum for their hard work, certainly missed following the comments yesterday

I use this forum for all my Saints news. Anyone know how we got on yesterday?

We played good attacking football but sadly it ended in a narrow defeat.

And how is Jennifer Lawrence's muff looking these days?

Got a link? I didn't find anything remotely interesting. Even the football chat has a very American twang to it.

What was the problem with the site ? Virus of some sort or something more sinister?

Was worried that it had caught the Ross Stewart virus, you know the one, two weeks out of action !!!!!!

Did wonder if it was purely coincidence that the site was out of order yesterday or not. Perhaps a good job it was, as although we all needed somewhere to vent, this place might have been incandescent yesterday afternoon.

I was confronted with this on trying to log in:

Didn’t know if this was displayed for SR, and players, or if the Admins like the team had just said “nah, fuck it… ‘ and given up.

It just goes to show how much `i miss this Forum! Tried the UI but there's no competition. Thanks for everyone involved in keeping this sire running! You only really understand how much you miss something when it's gone!

Ditto.

Have to thank those running the site for their work in providing it. Others don’t come close, and this provides a good outlet and source of info, especially for us exiles.

Saintsweb is a lifeline for all things Saints for those of us in the United States. So glad it is back up and running. I felt like i had lost the pulse of club and  supporters while down.

wait.. do we have a pulse?

Only me who would prefer the forum to be down every match day then...? ;)

Those weird Saints-related Facebook groups might be for you then, seen some proper odd stuff going on there whereby the admins set every post on matchday to be fully moderated so they quite often don't become visible to everybody else until days later, so then somebody has posted something in reaction to an incident in a game on the Saturday and it then gets posted around the same sort of time as a game we're playing on the Wednesday  utter lunacy.

Yeah, in all seriousness, when having to get one's fix of matchday reactions from the likes of Facebook and Twitter at the weekend it actually makes you realise that this place is a veritable sanctuary of rational thought by comparison.... (ok, maybe over-egging it slightly there....! ;)

Good to see it back, thanks Steve.

I had a problem signing back in because it asked for my email address that I used when I registered many years ago rather than my user name. I tried all of my current addresses without success and then remembered that I had to use my works address (I’ve been retired 6 years!) for some reason I couldn’t register with Microsoft type emails at the time.

Steady on mate, a sanctuary of rational thought. Actually  after looking at the UI website on Saturday you could be right 🤔🙄

Well done Steve on the fix. I guess we had Y2K a quarter of a century late.

Also, the nun I would have used for Saturday's game...im-on-break.jpeg.ce74172febf0f0b7e0fbaa880ac032c0.jpeg

I need to do a database server upgrade at some point, I suspect this may be related. Migrating a 14gb database should be a piece of cake...

Chin up. At least being down during the Brentford debacle probably saved you an extra few gb of meltdown to migrate.

Probably cost a few quid in advertising revenue too, in fairness
