Turkish Posted January 1 Posted January 1 (edited) i keep getting this when on the main board, doesn't happen on the lounge or any others. Anyone know how to fix it? Edited Thursday at 12:16 by Turkish
johnnyboy Posted January 1 Posted January 1 I can’t even get on the main board ! I have to go to user profiles and try and see what new post are active , if I sign out I can see the main board but then what’s the point of that , apologies to peoples profiles I’ve viewed , I’m not stalking anyone ! Tried to message @stephengrant but he’s not replying 🙄
SNSUN Posted Thursday at 00:18 Posted Thursday at 00:18 Yeah ditto, having issues getting on the main board.
rooney Posted Thursday at 07:25 Posted Thursday at 07:25 Just now, rooney said: Me too, same error message I sent a message to admin 22 hours ago. Similar occurred at beginning of December. 1
Turkish Posted Thursday at 09:46 Author Posted Thursday at 09:46 it seems to be the link to the mainboard as you can click on the actual thread and work its when you want to go from the front page into the mainboard. All the other boards seem to work okay
johnnyboy Posted Thursday at 10:42 Posted Thursday at 10:42 This is what I get on every browser when I’m signed in but like I said if I sign out I can see the main board ! IMG_0792.mov

trousers Posted Friday at 10:17 Posted Friday at 10:17 (edited) I think the technical term is: "its all a bit f**ked"! Edited Friday at 10:21 by trousers 2

stevegrant Posted Friday at 10:39 Posted Friday at 10:39 As mentioned on the forum-wide announcement, you should have the option to switch the theme (in the page footer, there is a Theme dropdown item) to the original Invision default theme. Unfortunately this default theme is blue, but it might be a little bit more reliable for a short period - I don't really like the way this forum software manages its updates and functionality changes, as it forces those who use heavily-cached connections (often on mobile devices where it's harder to clear the cache properly) to suffer degraded performance for a while. 1
trousers Posted Friday at 10:45 Posted Friday at 10:45 Cheers Steve... but still getting the problem on the default / blue theme.... 2 1

benjii Posted Friday at 12:26 Posted Friday at 12:26 If I clear my cache on all the animal porn sites I've been on recently, it works fine. 1
S-Clarke Posted Friday at 13:50 Posted Friday at 13:50 (edited) Get the same errors here too, tried multiple devices with varying OS's and browsers and it's the same across all. Doesn't matter what theme I'm on either. I do get into the threads eventually, but it can take 3 or 4 attempts. Edited Friday at 13:51 by S-Clarke 1

I was just about to post that refreshing every page / thread a few times each time seems to do the trick. Bit of a PITA but not the end of the world, I guess Edited Friday at 13:55 by trousers
SNSUN Posted Friday at 15:12 Posted Friday at 15:12 To be fair it probably beats reading about Saints currently. Still… 1

I have also found that if I post a reply to a thread the post does not automatically cause the page to refresh and I have to force a page refresh in the browser to see what I have posted. Baird of the land Posted Friday at 21:40 Posted Friday at 21:40 Glad to see i'm not alone in the need to multi refresh approach to get main page working
Holmes_and_Watson Posted Sunday at 18:06 Posted Sunday at 18:06 I just thought the site had gone on the same holiday as the team on Saturday. 🙂 Glad it's back, and thanks for the work put in to get past the errors.
