If so, I do hope Ankersen is present to talk about his vision and aspirations like he did 2 years ago, SR have run this club into the ground with some of the worst signings over their tenure in premier league history, I'd love him to try to explain Ross Stewart because quite frankly even Hawking if he were alive would struggle to square that.

I’m not bothered about words, David Moyes or another good name Southampton FC Director of Football backing Juric, Rasmus exiled to Turkey, and biggest transfer budget possible next summer with the aim of biggest in the league, that would be a start. Get the players fit, stop the excuses culture and get back to being a well-run, efficient outfit as per 09-17. No philosophies or strap lines, get the basics right over the next 3 years. Also, get the pathway back to the academy and stop buying third rate tat from Rasmus’s spreadsheets.

I went to these things during peak Les Reed and the Pellegrino clusterfuck.

SportsRepublic in my eyes are far, far worse.

Any fan forum is just going to be soundbites that they know the fans want to hear.

The last Fans Forum I went to was Danny Ings and Blackmore present and we the mic runner was told not to let go of the microphone because obviously they didn't want difficult questions asked.

It was a grim time and yet nobody said fuck all and I didn't get to ask a question.

One guy heckled and that was about as audible dissent it got.

It's pointless because SportsRepublic are never going to sit their and say "We haven't got a fucking clue what we are doing".

Although the biggest statement against SR would be thousands upon thousands of empty seats, which is what did for Rupert. Then turn out in large numbers at away games and protest with banners where SFC security can’t confiscate them or eject supporters.

When we were Premier League we bought Premier League players.

But apparently Cortese had gone balaclava’d up, sneaked into ML’s office, broken into his safe, stole all his money and was spending it all on quality players and managers without ML or his family even knowing! That’s what I heard anyway. 

No way would SFC owners ever be ripped by greedy, unscrupulous, bullshitting, clueless middle-men ever again!!

I’m sure ‘reputation management’ is the sort of thing Rasmus would be knowledgeable about and provide an interesting talk on.

Just remember how they managed to ‘sideline’ Jones for a fans forum when it became obvious his media skills might only inflame matters with a live audience.

I don’t expect the club to make anyone senior available for questions any time soon. Shame as there are many things they should be grilled on.

Why protest? Juric  has just taken over we’ve seen an improvement and he hasn’t been helped by injuries, dodgy refs and suspensions. I’m not a SR fanboy now I’m just being pragmatic. No-one is advocating having a go at Juric, not one single poster. Rasmus et al are totally fair game, worst season in our history now, a void and watching the team is a chore. Add in that 22/23 was our worst top flight season ever by a mile before that, far worse than 04/05. Wembley yes, but only because Martin was forced to adjust his crazy tactics and the 🤡 did his Achilles.

SR need two immaculate transfer windows now, particularly the summer, as their stock with the fanbase is rock bottom. Around where Sunderland’s was with Lawrie 1986. There’s a growing sense we are being bled off for Goztepe as Rasmus fights for his future.

I don't think Juric will be the target of fan's anger, most are grateful he was prepared to take the role when others wouldn't.
