Exactly this. Not saying it's the only problem RM left us with but that final pass/finish in the final third is often instinctive; and comes from being in that situation on a regular basis. We're 19 games in with 6 points. We need 6 points from our remaining 19 games to get above Derby. So the second half of the season would have to be worse to not break that record. So how would finishing below Derby prove that we should have made the switch sooner?
