Ultimately the three promoted teams will probably be relegated - like last season. It’s not good for the PL or football in general across the pyramid. The same 6-8 teams will take the European places and win the cups. Personally if we just yo-yo between leagues I’d take that as at least we’ll get occasional enjoyment. Football is so broken with how they’ve implemented VAR and FFP.

This season 1 of the 3 thought that revolutionising football was a winner and another one was making a step up for the second season in a row. But yes, there's quite the gap even without shooting yourself in the foot as we've done.

No, RM was the problem, but it is also true that the squad is not good enough, hardly any PL quality players, no manager was likely to turn this cows ear into a silk purse.

Both but Martin was the catalyst trying to play one way with players that aren't good enough to do it. I still think KWP, Ramsdale, Fernandes and Dibling would probably walk into most bottom half sides, THB might scrape into one or two but the problem is the rest are so damn Championship standard that the half decent players we have also look shite.

They're not fit enough, not coached well enough and for the most part, aren't good enough. Juric has a hell of a job trying to get a tune out of them.
