Premier League Points deduction

Man City now found guilty but unlikely to hear of a sentence until Spring time. Everton and Leicester are still rumoured to be receiving deductions. It’s all very quiet in the media. What do people think will happen?

Where are you getting this guilty thing from. It's the kind of thing that would make national headlines but it isn't anywhere.

Looks like the hearing has concluded with a judgement coming in Spring. So not judged guilty quite yet then.

Pretty sure if Leicester were getting deductions it would have been last summer when the breaches were more obvious. Everton unlikely and with City the can will carry on getting kicked down the road.

I read somewhere while ago that rules will be changed to fit in with the complainig teams who need flexibility to essentially rework finance in accounts each year. Man City will never be docked points and if anything they will gain points next season by winning prem again due to buying the leaque. The new rules will be affective before City get thier ruling completed as lawyers will take 12 months.

You started with a lie and made out that something had actually happened that day when it hadn't.

There are no scenarios of points deductions that are going to keep us up. Everton have already been done last season. Leicester have got away with it. And Man City will need not a points deduction but an immediate expulsion from the league to benefit us. That is not going to happen.

Where do you base your confidence that something is likely to be incurred on one or more clubs?

Personally I don’t see any points deduction happening this season. Happy to be wrong of course.

The Man City judgement when it comes will likely send shockwaves through the football league. Looks like they can appeal however which could lead to months more of this dragging. I haven’t seen anything to suggest Leicester or Everton have gotten away with things scot free.

It's highly unlikely to happen, but it would be a bad news for us if City were demoted, as that would leave only 2 promotion spots in the Championship next season.
