OldNick Posted 31 January, 2009 Share Posted 31 January, 2009 How about the morons who have caused all the trouble from the start? Lowe and Wilde? If Lowe had done a better job,we would still be in the Premiership. If Wilde hadnt had got idiots in,then changed his mind and brought Lowe back,we mightve stood a chance. It seems tome that the only people who actually have any passion for the club is the fans. Some of that is correct IMO, but you cannot just blame RL.There were a number of catastropic reasons. alpine_saint Posted 31 January, 2009 Share Posted 31 January, 2009 You may say sensible people are happy clappies or Lowe luvvies but the majority of fans who go to games are out for entertainment. They dont want to listen to polititics it is a pastime. They rightly think that there is a time and place. The march and any protest should be IMO after the game not during. They have a right to protest but not a right to ruin other peoples entertainment that they have paid hard earned money to go and watch. I hope the march is successful and free from being hijacked by the more idiotic section of fans. I could not care less if the protest continues during the match. Protests should aim for maximum effect to get the people you are protesting against to take notice, and if that involves self-sacrifice, so be it. Protesting outside of the game is like a union going on strike over the Xmas holiday or summer shut-down in a factory. It doesnt effect the business operations, so wont grab the attention of the management.........

What's your excuse for not being there (the match, I know a luvvie like you would participate in the protest), Mr. Hard Core Saints Fan ?

What's your excuse for not being there (the match, I know a luvvie like you would participate in the protest), Mr. Hard Core Saints Fan ? Mong. You didn't go to games when you did live in the country... And i don't need an excuse to not go to the game. But if i were at the game i would be in the pub prior to the game. Not because i am a "luvvie" but because i just don't think it would actually achieve anything...whereas drinking beer always achieves something... alpine_saint Posted 31 January, 2009 Share Posted 31 January, 2009 Mong. You didn't go to games when you did live in the country... How do you know ? Ahhhhhh. You believe the hype your little Luvvie friend nickh generated... And how amusing to read you sneer at the attendance of others... Yep, sit on your arse in the pub and let everyone else do what needs to be done to save the club. Superb.:smt038
