MaCarthy straight out of play.

100 times better than Russball (i.e. passing it to a Liverpool player)

😉

When we have the ball at the back, the opposition swarm us and force a mistake. Watch Archer when the opposition backline is playing it out. It's infuriating, might as well be playing with 10. He's marking space.

Can't expect players that take 2 days off a week and don't do 'bust a gut' training to do stuff like run around FFS....

Curious to see how many minutes if any Onachu will get. Conditions seem perfect for a big target man

Why? Anything long or up in the air is going to be blown off course. It’s a night for keeping it down on the deck and relatively short.

Disagree. Wet and blustery are great conditions to be swinging the ball into the box as it will a nightmare to defend.

You can alreayd see how wet the pitch is. That isn't a pitch to for short passing on.

You don’t have to defend anything if the ball just gets blown well over everyone’s head and out for a throw in or goal kick, which is happening to both sides ATM. Our best attack of the game just came from a low, direct pass into Fernandes, who played a neat through ball to Dibling.
