Could see Wolves being an attractive proposition for Moyes, meaning our best (only) chance of survival will soon be off the table.

Moyes wouldn't come here anyway.

Surely they'll go for our own brilliant coach.

It would be a hard pill to swallow, but we should accept it with good grace.

O'Neil would be a massive upgrade on Martin. Two seasons of survival under his belt.

Agent O'Neil! Too many connections down the M27 for my liking!

Wolves look to be potentially lining up John Eustace. Moyes and Potter don't want the job.

Eustace is a strange one, he seems to have a good reputation for (?), …. having a good reputation.

Don’t think he’s achieved much, and when his name was first mentioned with us I was surprised to see he wasn’t that experienced. His ridiculous sacking at Birmingham seems to have enhanced his standing disproportionately.

I’d take Fred West over Lego.

Good Gloucester bloke, apparently.

(Based on a studio talk show where a neighbour said he used to see him in the street, and they’d say hello, “well, I thought he were an alright bloke …” to much studio laughter) . I’m sure Gloucester Saint will know the area, and likely accent it was said in.

To be fair, he’s only won 1 less premier league game. The only concern I have is he’s dead, but even that isn’t a deal breaker when up against Lego….

Yes, but Fred wouldn’t be up to the job without Rose. She was the tactician, apparently.

To be fair a dream team with Rose on the ouija board could work.

I rate Eustace. I think he is going to get a premier league job soon after what he has done at Brum and Rovers on small budgets. We have been linked with him before quite recently.

Maybe a bit of a risk being that he has not premier league experience. But he would certainly have us in the mix for next season's title charge.

Cromwell Street is situated between the old docks and the railway station. With the building of Gloucester Quays, which is a bit like Gunwharf, the area is quite different to the early 90s when Fred and Rose’s gruesome activities were uncovered. The actual house in Cromwell St was made unstable by all of the excavations and was demolished in the mid-90s, now being a pathway. The bricks and mortar were ground to dust at RAF Quedgeley to ensure that no Berlin Wall-type ‘souvenirs’ popped up.

Fred himself was not actually from Gloucestershire nor Gloucester itself originally, but over the border in Herefordshire, a pretty little village called Much Marcle (not to be confused with Meghan…). It’s a few miles from Ross on Wye, another pretty place although not especially great for shops or services. Rose was originally from North Devon. They also lived on Midland Rd in Barton & Tredworth before Cromwell St, tragically also committing a murder of West’s daughter there as well as the Herefordshire and Cromwell St ones. Allegedly in Bishops Cleeve on the outskirts of Cheltenham as well.

A cafe just up from Gloucester Quays called the Clean Plate now and the Pop In cafe in the late 1960s was excavated after the ITV programme in 2021 where West had reportedly carried our building work but nothing found https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-gloucestershire-57182029

We are too far south for our own good. Footie is a northern game.

How very dare you ... get out.

You can never be too far south

If he’s still available we should go for him for sure next season.

Would love to have a championship title run with a proper manager. That’s the only positive I can cling to atm.

Based on reputation I reckon he could cement our place in this league

Wolves may approach Martin but we all know he's holding out for United. Was a real shock when they went with that Portuguese chancery rather than bringing total football to Manchester. Maybe Real Madrid in a push.

Seems like they are going for Victor Pereira. Don’t know much about him.

Wasn't he the guy Everton fans protested against a couple of years back? Forced their owners to backtrack and get Lampard instead.

Not sure exactly what the hate was towards him, maybe he upset a scouse person once in the 1990's.

Mendes stooge with a very spotty CV. You fear for them...

I fucking hate Wolves as an away day as well, it's easily the worst one I've ever done, so chances are they'll come down with us
