The likes of Farage and Tice are closely associated with the lying Orange cunt. They are trying to row back on previous comments and endorsements of Trump but the more nonsense that comes out from Trump, the more difficult it is for them not to be connected by association. The QT audience certainly showed what they thought when Bruce told Tice to shut up. Add in squabbling amongst their MPs (I hope that Rupert Lowe, when he is Reform leader, doesn't expect to win any Southampton MPs😁) and the future may not be that bright for Reform. 2 1

Gloucester Saint Posted March 7 Posted March 7 (edited) Elon’s fucked Reform properly there and put the skids under Farage. Lowe got taken in by it and picked a fight with Farage, who has responded as someone owning a fiefdom does. Still not learned after his spell as Saints Chair has Rupert. Likes of the Telegraph and Mail will lap this up https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c80yd11nm73o Farage can’t be outshone. He is an egotist after all. Clearly a hit job to show Lowe who’s boss — though I think Farage and Zia Yusuf may find the members would rather back who they see as the more impressive (in Reform terms) MP. 1
LGTL Posted March 7 Posted March 7 He’s had the whip removed. Perhaps unsurprising as old Rupes has been in the spotlight a bit too much recently for Farage’s liking. 2
rallyboy Posted March 7 Posted March 7 Suddenly it looks like Reform isn't a political party after all but a raft of companies that Farage controls and uses to finance his lifestyle. We're all staggered to discover this, especially Rupert, who is normally first with his snout in the trough. 6
sadoldgit Posted March 7 Author Posted March 7 Poor old Nige. He knows that it is electoral suicide to come out against Ukraine in the UK but at the same time he has got his nose firmly up the arses of Trump and Putin. At least the Lowe situation will take some of the pressure off but his small party has just got smaller and with any luck the British public who were thinking it was a good idea to go with Reform will now see them for what they are. 5

Never a serious party, especially given the Musk backing then not backing and then his PDA that Rupert Lowe was the best Reform MP ... always going to go one way. 1

Gloucester Saint Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Surprised Tice or Farage haven’t had a pop yet about how many people Rupert fell out with as SFC Chair - Wiseman, Trant, Crouch, numerous managers, Lawrie, Mary Corbett - and plenty more. Mind you, Nigel Farage has just as a big a list, probably more than Rupert. Never going to end happily was it?

I expect that Farage and Tice would like to airbrush Lowe’s stay at Southampton. 2 relegations and a bankruptcy is hardly a great endorsement for someone who would like to run the country. 2

sadoldgit Posted March 10 Author Posted March 10 I’m enjoying the delicious irony in Nigel Farage, the UK’s champion of free speech, getting his knickers in a twist about…you guessed it…a member of his own political party exercising his own right to free speech. 3

Jeremy Corbyn Posted March 10 Posted March 10 This just sums up the far right in this country, essentially Farage is the only one who is actually electable (Tice and 30p Lee perhaps) but as soon as he needs to grow his party and bring in more people it just ends up introducing people who are either publicly unappealing or unable to stay on script (which is quite important if you want to be a major party). Have to say I'm surprised with how quickly it's fallen apart but I think it shows the futility of having popularity before you've actually established the party properly. 2

Most MPs have caseworkers. Clacton will re-elect him in 2029, I’d wager a big lump of money in that. Wayne the plumber and Sharon the hairdresser see him as having raised their town’s profile.
