I’ve not so much been defending him as refusing to believe that this absolutely sh*te show of a season is all his fault, or rather hilariously, that we have a midtable squad which is being held back by the manager. I spent the whole summer wondering when we were actually going to start signing PL footballers, only to be left still waiting.

Tonight we had people slating the manager for dropping a keeper who was released by mid-table Boro, a defender who Swansea fans all agreed was sh*t and a striker who scored 4 goals in all competitions for Sheff Utd. That just about sums up the utterly appalling state of everyone involved in this football team. Martin, the players, SR, the whole f*cking lot of them.

This is worse than the 0-9. At least we had the excuse of being down to 10 men. That first half ended with a fifth in the 45th minute too.

This could easily be 10.

Martin has managed to turn us into one of the biggest fucking embarrassments ever, but no excuse for the effort today from certain players either.. Fuck me Aribo is apparently on £72k a week for walking about and offering absolutely fuck all

Another record breaking performance. Our only hope is that they keep RM and we get so hammered even more so that some people at the club have to finally admit that the plan is shite and you can’t play this football on the cheap

I don't disagree. The players are terrible but they aren't five points after half a season terrible. Our utter failure is on Martin and his style of play. Ideally sports Republic sell to someone else but as a minimum Martin needs sacking after this game.

Nobody thinks we have a midtable squad FFS. We DO have a squad that's better than 5 points after 16 games.

Spurs will bring on a few of their younger players from the bench to give some of the starters a rest before their cup match later in the week.

 

Mind you, they will still extend their lead whilst hardly breaking sweat.

No, I just remember a time when our fans wouldn’t just sit there looking like complete melons and would instead be making their feelings of discontent apparent to the dugout and directors box.

I am  staying. Don't know why. Guess its part of life's rich tapestry. You have to have a shit sandwich sometimes to enjoy a good meal... Whenever that arrives.
