Fucking great save Lumley.

He's brilliant at shot stopping and claiming crosses, stop asking him to play like Ederson FFS.

Clearly can't defend corners though.

Why is that in quotation marks? He literally is our fourth choice keeper.

I just like using unnecessary "quotation marks"

The players must feel great and not soul destroyed at all keep getting into games then this tosser insists on his bullshit, has to be friction surely?

Judging by all the hugs, they still fuckin think he is God.

He was shoved out the way and still managed to get his hand to the player that headed the ball. Without the shove he gets the ball.

Tbf no one went with Disasi. Lumley could've done better but it's terrible defending. Second goal obviously his fault. He's made two very good saves since.

#1, #2 and #3 have all made hideous errors with their feet because they are goalkeepers. Catching, stopping, that sort of thing. Not the crazy shit beardy wants them to do.

#4 Bazanu is better with his feet but as much a goalkeeper as Paul Merson was David Seaman. Gavin couldn’t catch crabs from a prostitute in Bevois Valley.

Some of our forward play is encouraging. I absolutely believe our squad is better than our league position.

RM and his mental philosophy is dragging us down.

I was also referring to the one just now when they hit the bar.

Does Martin never work on defending in training - never!

When you have average Championship defenders it doesn't help, but you also have specific defensive coaches to work with the defenders day in, day out - do we know who they are?

Love this high risk low reward football. But hey when it works...we have the ball 20 yards from our own goal facing away from the opposition. Worth it.

That, in a nutshell is why it's so ludicrous. In pre season of the Championship I repeatedly asked what the benefit was of taking huge risks to get 15 yards up the field and was scolded repeatedly by football experts on here.

We will be relegated because of our passing out at the back. Martin alone is to blame for this and he solely must take responsibility. Sack him now

Going to get relegated due to crass naivity.

Colin Calderwood, but he's probably coaching the keepers.

Ffs dragan grow a backbone and ditch Martin it's clear he can't coach a defence!

Wishful thinking, until those in the ground that pay money to watch this shit find their voice of dissent then everyone will carry on with the slow motion car crash.

For a few minutes Saints gave Chelsea some problems when moving the ball forward quickly. Then came the instruction from Russ to stop that sort of thing and get back to tippy-tappy at the back. This is high risk, low reward stuff.

Lumley needs to ignore instructions and hoof it out for the sake of his reputation and dignity

Who is our 5th choice keeper ? Because for Lumley that would be a sacking offence.

Yep. It's so obvious. We looked decent in the early stages when we moved it forward quicker. As soon as we retreat back into the tippy tappy bollocks we surrender all momentum.

There's number 3.
