Eight theoretical points behind 17th place after 14 games.

I cannot watch us, every game the pundits are laughing at us passing the ball straight to attackers.

Awful feeling that Martin is unsackable, as it surely would have happened before now and he’ll be leading us into the 25/26 Championship season.

Hope they're ready for 10k ST sales if that happens

Right. Silver lining time.

We were never going to win this game, and now stephens is suspended for the next 3 games and in all seriousness must surely have royally pissed off Martin...?!?1 Surely?!?! Thats worth a point or 2 potentially? 😄

They've definitely already committed to keeping him for next season. Martin spoke previously about being ahead of schedule, the 5 year plan was to be in the Prem at the end of the 5 years regardless of what happened in the interim.

Without wishing to get all CB Fry on you… how often have you talked about a decent performance or the team showing real improvement?

I’ll rephrase, decent at times. We haven’t been able to be decent or show that we’ve improved, across a whole game, all season. We look decent in patches and then shoot ourselves in the foot trying to be all brave

Rasmus and Russ will be discussing how well they have “broken it” over a chamomile tea tomorrow.

They'll start chopping up the tea leaves with their Japanese hand crafted scissors as soon as the final whistle goes, I reckon.

If Cucurella doesn't go down rolling around screaming that isn't given, that's what pisses me off.

No different at all from BBD getting Schar sent off on the opening day at Newcastle. Players will do that - the trick is to not give them a reason to.

For Stephens to even think pulling Cucurella's hair was a good idea just demonstrates what a brainless prick he is.

Plus side I'm clinging to is this is Russ's last game.

Clinging so tightly.

Your going to be disappointed especially when he is still here for Russball the sequel in the championship!

Have a look at the SR thread, if that was the plan I’d say it just changed.

We’ve actually played some good football but as always, we’ve absolutely gifted them two goals. Jack Stephens, enough is enough. RM can’t defend this one. He’s not a Premier league player, bang average in Championship at best. He’s always got that pathetic petulance in him. The big plus point is that he will get a decent suspension so we may have a chance.

Woods looks good, Aribo positive, KWP superb going forward. I just hope we can keep it respectable.

Then we are doomed. He will have no fan support next season. Nil. We're obviously going back down, I just want us to do it in a non embarrassing way.

For me there is a case for Cucurella to be given a red for his rection to a slight hair pull. To go down like he's been shot by the Jackall was a disgrace and does the game no favours. Time it was stamped out. It was a complete over reaction and he should have been punished for it.

How is deliberately pulling somones hair not violent conduct? I know he made the most of it as players do

Just feels to me there should be more of a bar. I wonder if the ref had of seen it would he have red carded him or booked him/told him to cut it out.

When there's pushing and shoving in the box, is that soon going to be deemed violent conduct?

I've always said I don't see why faking being hurt isn't considered simulation the same as diving.

It was exasperation from me but I agree it was dumb of Stephens. Just trying to remember the last time we saw a VAR referral for pulling hair.

It was some time ago but who was it who got sent off for us  at West Ham for getting his fingers caught in that ladyboy's hair?

I don't think VAR was around then

Looking at the positives We never lose we win or we learn we have learnt an awful lot in that first half

It's harder to play against 10 men so we've got a great chance in the second half

only one of our goals conceded came from a goalkeeping error

9 goals this season have come from mistakes, so the vast majority of the time we play it out we dont concede.

The record low points is still on

Breaking our own record defeat is still on

Martin is failing which means he's going to be better in the future for it

Things really are looking up.

And we’ve got the half time possession trophy.

second straight red card too, 5 game ban i think? What an utter knob not only shouldn't he be there because he's shit, he also very indisciplined.

Lol @ all the idiots slating Jack but to be fair all he did was take a daddy long legs leg out of his 18.3 million strands of hair and these people blaming him for the result haha brilliant 👏  he does us a favour being unable to play.

Yhis plus Archer and Frazer linking up well. There are good things happening but the defence is desperate.

Martin twice had a right go at lumley for going long right before the mistake.. what’s the keeper to do. As for Stephen’s.. absolute bell end…should be nowhere near the starting line up.. again that’s on this manager who’s good at being best mates with virtually everyone.

Controversial opinion but fans are partly to blame for why Martin is still here no mass protests no dwindling attendances... Nothing... Martin is still here because they know we will lamely accept it same as we will when he's still here in the championship

If you could clone these players, and play a match between the first team and the clones, who would win?

The defense would be shocking, but could our strikers take advantage? It'd probably be 0-0 😂
