With what or whom?

With the keeper and defender's decision making. We might not like it but that was the right call. Armstrong went too far, too early.

They wanted to rule it as offside. They couldn't see the ball and the player to show it clearly, so they've made some nonsense up about Armstrong to justify it. Simple as that. We were never getting that goal.

What complete horseshit - especially when you look at that Manure goal last season where Rashford actually went to the ball in an offside position - and the other player scored.
these clowns don’t know their arse from their elbow!

Armstrong was miles off. Had no business trying to flick it.

Flick it where? His leg doesn’t make a single movement that would be either trying to score or make a pass.

That is corrupt as fuck AGAIN.

He didn’t need to do it either, fucked it up for Tyler.

Still doesn’t excuse stalling the game for that long though.

We are the charity case for the league. We're bottom and adrift, considered as no hopers. So we're seen as an easy team for them to give var calls against and keep the other teams at least partially appease.

He did, he stuck out his leg to try and either knock it or move it on with his heel.

Fuck off!

Celebrated that "goal" twice. How is AArm interfering, it didn't change a thing about the pass. Utter, utter bullshit.

How can the cross going through the legs of a player five yards from goal NOT be interfering? The keeper has to position himself to cover the threat of Armstrong, thereby leaving the ar post exposed.

If that goal gets given against Saints I guarantee this entire forum would be fuming.

I'd love to understand why they didn't look at armstrong to start with

Why spend 20 minutes drawing lines on archer's position when armstrong was obviously offside. If he was interferring it should have taken 1 minute max to decide..

PGMOL were dreadful last season as well, and before that. Hence Clattenburg’s role with Forest.

It didn't go through his legs, it was behind him. He flicked his leg backwards so that's deemed interfering but if he doesn't flick his leg it's not.

We must be the most screwed over team this year. Var has cost us enough points to put us adrift put it that way.

Fuck you're annoying. Just have to be a contrarian eh?

The ref could volley it in and run to the BHA dugout and you'd see it different to everyone.

Armstrong was clearly offside and knew it. Making any movement towards the ball and giving the PGMOL the opportunity to disallow it was complete stupidity.

He was beyond the ball, and from the angle behind the goal it's a natural movement and had no opportunity to affect the outcome with some vague raising of his heel. It did nothing to impact either their defenders, keeper or direction of the ball. Wrong decision, poor refereeing.

Can’t remember but don’t you love VAR?

Just as the players find the confidence to play proper football off their own backs - VAR puts them back in their place. This league is not the home of the beautiful game.

Yep. Feeling that too. We're 95% shit, but when we finally stumble on that 5% we get shafted in some other way.

Thing is he's right.

Armstrong clearly offside makes a move towards the ball. Lino gave it (probably for Archer). No need for VAR just get on with the game.

The usual Saints experience.

Be shit.

Score a goal out of nowhere.

Suddenly it looks like you might get something.

Var nonsense.

Lose to an injury time winner.

It’s not the technology - worked fine in the Euros. Unless shit thick English officials (one of whom was caught recently snorting cocaine on camera) used it. Then it was just as much as farce as tonight.

Import most of our offices bar a couple of the untainted ones clean of Stockley, redundancies at PGMOL and re-start the refereeing system from the grassroots.
