Colinjb Posted 27 November, 2024 Posted 27 November, 2024 It is mad, but, fundamentally.... it's worked. People are talking about Jaguar. 2
Saint in Paradise Posted 27 November, 2024 Posted 27 November, 2024 A real genuine laugh out loud at this satire video. 😁

The ridiculousness of it all is that no-one has bought Jags with their current branding for the last 15 years, and it's not because they were bad cars - in fact lots of them were excellent. Whenever I've suggested to the wife to get a Jag her reaction has always been along the lines of "I'm not a 65 year old white bloke with gout". And thank fuck for that. However much people hate to think it, they had an image problem. People are now talking about Jaguar more than since they were in F1, and they are looking for a new consumer market, because the old one wasn't buying them. This could be genius, it could be stupid, but only time will tell. However, I know that I'm going to look in the classifieds for some low mileage, late 2013 XKRs or 2022 F Type R's as these will be appreciating in value over the coming years.
