Seeing as we've got various other threads for the big issues in the world like Trump, Russia and Pompey, it seems mad that this topic has never particularly been discussed on here before.

I have a few issues with Kit Kats, having just eaten my first one in about a decade.

1) Why do traditional Kit Kats only come in 2- or 4-finger form, when the average person has 5 fingers per hand? Surely there's a market for a 5?

2) Why do they even bother with 'traditional' Kit Kats since the, clearly superior, chunky has been invented?

3) I never, and I mean never, hear of people having a solid chocolate Kit Kat these days. Back in the day that be the talk of the town for days. I'm sure the manufacturers would call it progress. I call it bullshit.

4) They're not wrapped in silver foil these days. What a load of utter woke nonsense.

5) Penguins are better. More of an edgy observation than a point about Kit Kats, but needed to be said.

Peguins are better? Penguins are bang average, they are the Sheffield United of chocolate bars, just there, you forget they even exist until one day they appear in your cupboard at home because the missus saw they were on offer with her Tesco club card

Agree on the lack of silver foil, a sad biproduct of years of tory austerity i'd imagine

Top 3 Chocolate bars

Twix

Marathon (not snickers FFS)

Star Bar

1. Kit Kats were developed in Portsmouth. The seemingly random number of fingers are stuck together as it was cheaper than having chocolate webbing between them.

2. Classic Kit Kat's appeal to an older market, looking for a refined product that is also easier on dentures.

3. Rumour has it that these are now detected on the production line, and sold to collectors through the Dark (chocolate) Web.

4. Kit Kat foil was identified as being used by MLT to make tin foil hats. The makers stopped using it for reputational reasons, not wanting to be linked to conspiracy demonstrations.

5. Different markets, as illustrated by the family friendly joke and lack of classic Kit kat lines.

Would keep me content for months if I had a solid chocolate finger. The surprise and joy could not be bettered.

Remember the Yorkie ad- not for girls? The marketing man behind that one would be doing time now for such misogyny and hate

can we have retrospective action for these sort of disgraceful stuff? Do you remember the diet coke break ad? All women lusting over a man, not a single gay or trans person featured.

What is the difference between Katie Price and a Kit Kat?

You only get 4 fingers in a Kit Kat....

Expand

Have you read the thread at all? They also come in 2 finger and single fat (chunky) finger form. Your joke is flawed.

If Maltesers were a chocolate bar that would be epic. A gap in the market there i feel.

Tis the season of those Malteaser reindeer things. Small and extortionate for what they are, but quite lovely.

That's it folks, my 3 Kit Kat posts for today are used up. I'll be back with some more thought provoking content tomorrow.

If Gareth Southgate made your packed lunch, he’d put a Penguin in there. My top five:

  2. McVities Gold
  3. Milky Way
  4. Club
  5. Twix

I'd never mix biscuits with chocolate bars in the same list. Even chocolate covered biscuits.

They live in separate containers in the kitchen, not to be mixed. 🙂

My friend just brought me back a little box of sweet potato flavour KitKats from Japan. Was annoyed at first but then ate one. Yum.
