Criminally mis-used and handled by the club. Better to have an empty philosophy leaving you rooted to the bottom of the league instead of competing. Pleased for him that despite Martin and Rasmus that he’s showing what he can do. Topping it off with a goal would give both him and us some considerable cheer.

Tall Paul did well to hold on to possession there but the trouble is every player seems to have it drilled into them that they must always look for a backward or sideways pass.

I'd get Fraser off for Sugawara/Taylor, and instruct the players to maybe kick the ball long if necessary because we have a 6'8 striker winning most of his duels?

Taylor for Fraser 100%, 200 plus PL games as a LB and he puts a winger there.

Tall paul taking his opportunity, good man management to get him to that mindset.

Considering how much we miss bazunu, this is a great effort so far.

That was actually a decent half of football, I think we did alright considering the opposition. Paul looking decent enough on the ball, although if we’re being completely honest there was a touch of fortune about that moment just before half time.

Obviously we look weaker at the back without JB and Ramsdale but there’s not much we can do about that. McC is our third choice keeper for a reason and we’re going to have accept mistakes like that to an extent (Downes and THB far from blameless either).
