Good points well made.

Although i'd never understand why grown men would feel the need to record themselves having conversations like this, both of them seem to be lagging. Also assume this has only be shared with a group of mates so one of them must have stitched him up and shared it.

He's come out and said it's not him and it's a deep faked video. FFS man, just own it and say your were drunk and trying to impress that other fella.

Why is this even an issue? We know ourselves that referees are allowed to criticise individuals (see clattenburg and lallana). It's natural for refs to dislike players and managers who abuse them, the only problem would be if it impacted their neutrality on the pitch decisions, and there is no suggestion of that? No idea why this is supposed to be of any concern.

Exactly. If I was at work and a client/colleague/customer was in my face f-ing and blinding at me because they didn't agree with a decision I'd made, I wouldn't care how stressful the situation /project is but I would, naturally, think they were a bell end. I wouldn't necessarily say it back to them in a work setting, but I would certainly talk about it at home, behind closed doors, and it would naturally effect my opinion of them going forwards.

If Klopp - or other managers/players -doesn't want people to think he's a cunt, he shouldn't act like one. Must be horrid having Klopp's massive arrogant teeth right up in your face.

It's weird, though not overly surprising, that scousers think this is some massive conspiracy against them winning the league.

I should add, I don't know any thing about Coote. He does come across a bit weird (presumably high?) in the video though. Whoever his aquintance filming is seems like the bigger twat to me.

Bloody hell, I'm siding with the referees. The end is nigh...

Coote has got a car crash of a back catalogue of dubious decisions, some fit the anti-Liverpool argument and feed conspiracy theorists, but I think generally he was just crap at his job - should have sent off a Villa player in his last game and look at that penalty he gave West Ham the other week, laughable.

But even his refereeing record looks impressive when you compare it with his judgement on how to make the best use of social media.

People moan that refs are out of touch with fans. Here ‘s one who snorts coke and hates Liverpool doing his best to relate to the masses

So he was a linesman as well

I heard he was singing this.

'I am a linesman at Notts County'
I used to drive to Maine Road
Searching in the sun for another overload.
I hear you singing in the wire.
I can hear you thru the wine
And the Wichita Lineman
Is still on the lines.

That song is very poignant for me. It was all the rage when I started university in October 1968. Just the thought of it brings everything back.

At the risk of taking the thread off on a tangent, Bitterne Park Infants for me.
