Wolves got a dodgy penalty from VAR up there a few years back too. Think it was Moutinho, leaned into one of our players before going down and then got a penalty after a check. Seems to be a thing, even though they're the ones who think VAR has a vendetta against them.

Agreeing with a ludicrous VAR call.

The question was about what he would do to benefit himself. Why would a ref do that in order to benefit himself? It does the opposite!

Where does benefit come into it?

I blame Russell Martin

I do for their goal. Players not allowed to just clear their lines any more, leaves too much doubt in the minds of the players in those situations

Because it was a response to a claim of the ref wanting to make a name for himself. Why would a ref choose to 'make a name for himself' in a way that is not beneficial for himself?

Playing five at the back in a must-win game. Tactical masterstroke.

It is not five at the back. Stephens is in midfield in possession.

and yet, if you watch the replay, Semedo made no attempt to play the ball and was more concerned with blocking Fernandes off.

That's a fucking bullshit decision.

Things always look worse in slow motion.

Ridiculous var decision aside it's Worrying that we are being Outfought by wolves who seem to want it more!

If the goal was given against us, we would be claiming foul

Well, yes, of course, but football fans are naturally biased, which underpins the fact it was the wrong decision...

Making a name doesn't always mean beneficial.

Ahh the good old ‘U’ shape possession with no intent to cross or get the ball into meaningful areas
