Get Tall Paul in amongst those jittery Wolves defenders and put in a cross or two when we get in range. So much possession but not creating much so far.

Saints have played alright for the most part, just a real lack of cutting edge.

Maybe today is the day that Sam AA gets some game time and shows what he can do.

I'm completely board each game at St Mary's. OK last season as we had a decent amount of shots over the season. But the style and tactics dictates, stop, wait,  pass then repeat until pass back to keeper. The few dribbles and runs forward  we have don't end up with a shot on target.  Wolves are not a top 10 team so that's our bench mark for aggressive attacking football.

Surely the perfectly good goal we scored was on target...? (Yes, I know it gets scrubbed off statistically, but it was still a shot on goal, regardless)

Wolves looked like they were running on empty, even lallana was puffing less - best we've played this season so far.  Same again second half and we should edge closer to the 13pt target.

Wolves ar backing off and allowing us all of the park further than 20 yards from their goal, and we are stacking up the sideways passes, but we have had zero attempts on target.

I agree with this HK my old pal. We are actually knocking it around quite nicely and working decent positions but what is the feckin point when we just don’t or can’t go for the jugular and get it in the box and/or have bodies in there to aim for? TP would at least give us someone to aim balls into.

This is the concern. We're playing the team that's condeded the most goals this season by some distance and we're looking pretty toothless. I think we've been shafted by VAR but that has been our only moment. Jose Sa hasn't had to make a save.

KWP has been so off it this season. Flynn Downes has been shambolic ever since he signed permanent.

Right. Second half against the only team who were below us at 3pm. Absolutely go for it. If we lose I at least want to see stats saying 15 shots at goal, six on target and less than 50% possession- otherwise Martin can fuck off.
