In my opinion Marseille was a bit 'meh' but the Anderlecht game was special, especially as the Referee was a prize cock.

All looking good until Jim Steele made a mistake and Anderlecht scored the away goal to win the tie.

Best atmosphere I can remember at The Dell was the 1963 replay v Nottm Forest when we came back from 3-0 down with 12 mins to go and draw 3-3

How's your short term memory?

I believe FA Cup rule is 15% capacity but league Cup is 10%? But no obligation for us to offer more. Must admit thought we'd give them extra as we won't sell them, two years ago v Man City tickets were cheaper and crowd was only 22,996 including 3k City in the same round. Having said that Man City's own end was on general sale and only just sold out so no demand from them whereas Liverpool will sell theirs easily and have loads of local glory hunters in the home end

Yes it's 10% but I believe we used to give up to 3300 in the old Northam away end whereas it's much closer to the 3k mark in the new one which wouldn't fit the 10% requirement.

They'll just have to suck it up though. As you say there'll be loads in the home end anyway.

You're allowed to take segregation out of the allocation so the 3000 allocation plus seats lost to segregation can = 10% .

Season ticket holders can buy up to 4 tickets each from today on one customer number so I'm sure sales will pick up as people buy for mates.

  • Wednesday 13th November: 9:30am – Season Ticket Holder additional (4 tickets per supporter number)

  • Thursday 14th November: 9:30am – Supporters with a booking history from 2021/22 season onwards. (4 tickets per supporter number)

Thought I'd have a look and see how tickets were going for this, still very poor but looks like they've either now given the scousers extra tickets or they've taken blocks 29-32 off sale as they're now greyed out. When I first looked when it became available to members it was only the standard away area blocked off.

Most home blocks little more than half sold.

Has anyone who bought in those blocks been told they'll have to move?

Can't see they'd leave them empty. If anything it'll be giving them a bigger allocation.

Those blocks are sold out I think,  family members have tickets in block 30, most of the Kingsland and Itchen stands are sold , its behind the goals and corners where loads of availability still, makes sense as it's same price all over the ground the "prime" seats sold first. Dread to think how many plastic southern Liverpool fans will be in there.
