Osvaldorama Posted 30 October, 2024 Posted 30 October, 2024 Put one good cross into Paul Onuachu in the whole time he’s been at the club. We’ve had one of the country’s biggest strikers for nearly 2 years and he’s received one cross into the box. (West Ham when he hit the bar). Does anyone else remember another one? 1

Didn't he nearly score a header at Chelsea away? Other than that, not a lot.
Football Special Posted 30 October, 2024 Posted 30 October, 2024 Last couple of mins at Man City there was a decent cross to him at the back post. Would love Tall Paul to get on the score sheet, will it ever happen? 2
Lighthouse Posted 30 October, 2024 Posted 30 October, 2024 We did go direct, playing it into the box for him a couple of times. They weren’t quite direct from Ramsdale’s boot and they resulted in a foul on their keeper and then a throw in to Stoke but baby steps and all that.
Tommy Mulgrew Posted 30 October, 2024 Posted 30 October, 2024 At one point you could see TP gesticulating animatedly to our defenders to get the ball out to the right wing and for the winger/wingback to get it up the pitch and cross it into the Stoke penalty area. Quite comical really. Who would have thought that our players would need on-pitch instruction on how to attack the opposition’s goal. It was definitely needed, though, and I commend him for the coaching lesson. But it had f*ck all effect, even though we were supposedly pressing for the winning goal. Thank heavens for James Bree. 2 1
AlexLaw76 Posted 30 October, 2024 Posted 30 October, 2024 However, we have CBs with the most touches of the ball in Europe!

RussBall struggles to get past a compact team after all this time of practicing it. Doesn't appear that they've spent any time on anything else, such as getting the best out of TP. Stick with that plan A. 1
