Would have got a decent amount for him with the goals he scored and we knew he'd be useless for a Prem side. He’s about as reliable a Championship scorer as you’ll find, definitely worth keeping with that in mind. 1

Jack Posted 29 October, 2024 Posted 29 October, 2024 Feel this game would suit Tall Paul far more than Archer. They’re giving us unlimited space down the wings but nobody to get on the end of crosses. Fraser and Armstrong pretty poor tonight

SambaMaverick Posted 29 October, 2024 Posted 29 October, 2024 Do these cunts train anything but passing around the box in training, we're not even nearly sharp enough in front of goal. 1
SNSUN Posted 29 October, 2024 Posted 29 October, 2024 Soft penalty I think but I'll take it. AA goal 3

Our goals are from a set piece and a corner tonight so I agree we're not good enough in attacking areas. Although this isn't our strongest line up. Defensively and in midfield we have been decent though.

Mr X Posted 29 October, 2024 Posted 29 October, 2024 3-2 loss incoming!...... Just kidding it couldn't happen....... Could it? 🤔
Saint NL Posted 29 October, 2024 Posted 29 October, 2024 Fraser looked pissed off when he came off then, was he actually injured? 1

Saint Fan CaM Posted 29 October, 2024 Posted 29 October, 2024 Gotta say Les;ey looks good value at this level.
HnycS Posted 29 October, 2024 Posted 29 October, 2024 TV Camera just panned to Russel who was in discussion with someone who looked like Graham Potter, surely not?
Saint_clark Posted 29 October, 2024 Posted 29 October, 2024 Armstrong miles offside again. Terrible run.

I think it's pessimistic to give up a decent transfer fee as well as waste wages and a first team squad space on a player that will only be useful a year from now if we utterly fail this season. And then it isn't guaranteed he performs again anyway. 1

But he was standing by the touchline waiting for the board to go up, and he went straight down the tunnel with a physio. 1
Saint Matty 76 Posted 29 October, 2024 Posted 29 October, 2024 Armstrong deserved another go after what he did last year. Was never going to work as he's technically pretty shit but it's not pessimistic to acknowledge he's a great player to keep around in case we go down 1
Jack Posted 29 October, 2024 Posted 29 October, 2024 I’d honestly drag Armstrong off at HT, get Sam Amo some minutes. He’s been absolute trash 2
obelisk Posted 29 October, 2024 Posted 29 October, 2024 Stupid free kick to give away. It's given Stoke a chance.
SfcPhil Posted 29 October, 2024 Posted 29 October, 2024 Can't even keep a clean sheet against Stoke..
obelisk Posted 29 October, 2024 Posted 29 October, 2024 That is just dreadful defending. Another set piece conceded. 1

Farmer Saint Posted 29 October, 2024 Posted 29 October, 2024 I'm sorry, you can train and train as much as you like, go through tactical briefings etc but our defenders are fucking jank and are not good enough. 1
Saint_clark Posted 29 October, 2024 Posted 29 October, 2024 Who said 3-2 loss incoming? Outrageous finish TBF. 1

Lighthouse Posted 29 October, 2024 Author Posted 29 October, 2024 Bit of a lucky deflection that, shame as it’s been their only meaningful attack.
Harry_SFC Posted 29 October, 2024 Posted 29 October, 2024 (edited) My word this set piece defending just gets worse and worse. Martin has to be held accountable as it seems he doesn't want to hire a set piece coach. Edited 29 October, 2024 by Harry_SFC 1
