Really should have had the foresight to sell Armstrong in the summer. Would have got a decent amount for him with the goals he scored and we knew he'd be useless for a Prem side.

He’s about as reliable a Championship scorer as you’ll find, definitely worth keeping with that in mind.

Feel this game would suit Tall Paul far more than Archer. They’re giving us unlimited space down the wings but nobody to get on the end of crosses.

Fraser and Armstrong pretty poor tonight

He best score then as we are against championship opposition

Do these cunts train anything but passing around the box in training, we're not even nearly sharp enough in front of goal.

Our goals are from a set piece and a corner tonight so I agree we're not good enough in attacking areas. Although this isn't our strongest line up. Defensively and in midfield we have been decent though.

Armstrong might be useful out on that side if he could pass or cross. Or shoot for that matter

Or stay onside. All the fucking time

Fraser looked pissed off when he came off then, was he actually injured?

The commentator did say Russel gets a better view from the stand and that Fraser was not coming inside at all, so maybe?

You think it’s pessimistic to have a reliable goal scorer on the books for a scenario more than half of promoted teams end up facing?

Expand

I think it's pessimistic to give up a decent transfer fee as well as waste wages and a first team squad space on a player that will only be useful a year from now if we utterly fail this season. And then it isn't guaranteed he performs again anyway.

He didn’t look happy. But he was standing by the touchline waiting for the board to go up, and he went straight down the tunnel with a physio.

Armstrong deserved another go after what he did last year.

Was never going to work as he's technically pretty shit but it's not pessimistic to acknowledge he's a great player to keep around in case we go down

My word this set piece defending just gets worse and worse. Martin has to be held accountable as it seems he doesn't want to hire a set piece coach.
