No, I don’t .  Is that ok with you?

Of course it is! I was just curious about the train of thought that led to this conclusion. I didn't realise that there wasn't one......

So still no goalscoring forward on the horizon? That's disappointing.

on the bright side, we now have more than 10 cbs on the books, so if required, we could now field a 1-10-0-0 formation.

Can we bring in another loan (Sylla)? I thought the rule was we can only register two at a time and we already have Les and Albert.

2 domestic loans, of which we currently have 1 (Lesley). International loans don’t have this limit but we can only have a maximum number of loans in a match day squad, think that is 5

I see that Chelsea have recalled David Fofana from Goztepe. They will be looking for a striker. Not sure Archer or AA would fancy that move. I think Onuachu turned that idea down too in the summer.

What goal scoring forward is coming to a team nailed on for relegation mid season?

We could be going for a full on park the bus philosophy?

He's been playing regularly for Yoevil. Has he been recalled because Lumley or McCarthy are injured or is a loan to a side in a higher league going to happen?

Someone from abroad who would come in on loan to put themselves in the EPL shop window?

Fair point.

All I could jhtin of was one from a lesser league (so the champoionship isnt a major step down) that wants to get paid a lot more than he is now?

BBD signed for Sheff United last year. Weren't they nailed on for relegation? Not sure he was scoring any goals for Villareal at that point though.

Echo think another loan might happen elsewhere.

Didn't know these rules. Thank-you.

I assuem he's also going to get a loan elswhere, unless Juric is concerned that 10 CBs isnt enough.

If it means keeping Archer I'm OK with that. It looks like Juric fancies Onuachu going forwards and wants Archer to stay so that's our striker positions probably sorted If AA is staying put as a third choice.

Good enough? Who knows but it's not like we're going to get enough points to get to safety anyway so keep what we have an reassess in the summer.

The year is 3026.

League Two’s Southampton lose 3-0 to Basingstoke. They still haven’t signed a striker that can actually score goals

Still, it's a distraction seeing all the players wearing jetpacks. 🙂

Isn't that what Onuachu has been doing recently?

Plus Juric's favoured line-up for the front 3 (in both 3412 and 3421 Juric systems) has been Fernandes, Dibling & Sulemana. Plus we've signed Grønbæk who can play in those roles. None are natural strikers, but they suit the system we use, plus we have Onuachu and Archer as alternatives.

Aside from half the summer signings having left or been frozen out, another indicator of how shambolic we are is the likely scenario we only use one of the PL loan spots - these are key for newly promoted sides and we have known Cornet was leaving since December.

Didn't want to sign a new deal and was offered a contract within Chelsea's ecosystem of clubs.

Hopefully we've got a decent sell on clause inserted. Better to get something for him than just letting his contract run down.

I suppose if we had played him occasionally it might have helped. Pathway never seemed open for him

The double barrelled name cull continues. 😬

Under ffp rules clubs are only allowed to spend so much on shirt name letters in a season.

Alfie House reporting the Sylla deal has collapsed now, as well. So, we sell Amo-Ameyaw to Strasbourg and they then go and strike a deal with another club for Sylla.

Pants pulled down.

What do we expect, we've had no DoF for nearly a year now. Those responsible for recruitment may as well be pissing in the wind
