Can’t say i’m particularly happy about losing SAA. He definitely looked like he carried a threat, particularly at the start of last season, yet we’ve bizarrely moved him on and signed a pair of players for our Under 21s 🤷🏻‍♂️

That’s not too bad. Bar Udoh, who might be useful for doing Kelvin at Eastleigh a favour but can’t see him playing for Saints first team unless we are going down the Frankie Bennett route (did score V Chelsea at least). Actually Torquay’s form has stalled a bit, send him there and help out Paul Wotton.

Spors has one busy summer ahead, hope he’s not planning a holiday….

At the current rate, his holiday destination will be Staplewood for a few weeks each year.

I was told he was due to go out on loan to Goztepe, all my mate can guess is that he's impressed enough to be kept and due in the squad at the weekend. Soon find out Saturday I guess 🤷‍♂️

Interesting that Juric said he was a "little" dissapointed with our transfer window business.

He expanded: "There are some positions where we are missing players and that could be an issue in the future. But I understand the situation and it is difficult when you are bottom of the table to convince players. The club tried to bring me what I want - but we didn't succeed."

I wonder who we tried to get?

When he mentions the future I am not sure he means later this season or next.

Plus points. Someone who's coached a team had an idea of what was needed. The club did at least try to bring people in.

Sadly, like so many windows those gaps remain. Hopefully, lots of work going into addressing the gaps for the summer. If it's not Juric in charge, work to decide what it is they do want and work on those targets.

Pure speculation on my part but I reckon a midfielder and a striker.  Doesn't appear to be a big fan of Downes and pretty much all the forwards have been tried but not really managed to cement a starting position for themselves.  

He'll probably have to find a way to work with Downes and Archer because it'll be difficult to get our money back on them.

I'm not totally convinced that we are going to attract the kind of players we are going to need nor have the skills in our club to identify those players. What I most fear is that we are just going to end up with more of the same. As I've said before we won the lottery last season but you don't very often do that twice.

Yeah, I saw the article said 2 of their forwards are out.  Interested to see what he can do — wherever that may be.
