The only survivors have been Downes (didn't play last game, Injured) Ramsdale (played, but injured) and THB (went off injured). Does this blackbox have an injured filter we can turn on? 1

Expand Very conflicting reports here. The quote was that he "had a problem in the week" and when challenged if he was injured, Juric shot down the question. So yes, he is a sick note, but that might not be the reason he was out. 1

Expand Not arguing with your general point that our summer recruitment was poor, but you're forgetting Fernandes, Suga, Lallana and Big Les who all played on Saturday. Plus Wood who is injured. 2

The mentality when we let a goal in, the lack of common sense defending and the inability to even apply damage limitation stands out a mile. I wouldnt be gutted to see Janny B go in all honesty, I think defence needs a complete overhaul, not just patching up 8

Expand I don’t like it either but he would have had 1 year left on his deal this summer and if he won’t sign an extension then we need to get what we can. He’s not been given many opportunities but I do think back to the QPR start where he couldn’t impact the game at all. Only ever looked good against tired opponents off the bench. For a player that’s contributed nothing it’s not a terrible financial deal. He may go on to live up to the hype but if he won’t sign what choice do we have? 4

Case in point - BBD is already scoring for Sheffield United after looking like a lost boy in the PL. At the start of the window, I admitted I had no idea what the right approach would be, but offloading players who could help us bounce straight back was definitely not on my list. If anything, we should be looking to move on those who clearly won’t be here next season—KWP, Sulemana, Dibling - rather than disrupting players’ lives only to expect them to return next season fully committed. It just feels counterproductive. (I don't want to sell the likes of Dibling but we know he won't be here so...) 2

Expand For me, thanks for the goals and the promotion, if someone offers good money, great memories, but what if that reservation turns out to be true and he can't do it under another manager or system. Of course, no guarantees in football, but I'll stand by the Reset Reset Reset idea. Even if we did keep him in the Champ, we all know he isn't a Prem player. 1

The lesson for me is don’t write players off until you’ve had a long look and given them a decent run in the team. Danso another one we messed around. Hope SAA is not another.

Expand 🤣 we've been terrible and Sam AA hasn't done enough to earn a first team start , he's got potential and personally I'd like to have seen him loaned but having watched quite a few B team games he just doesn't do enough for me 2

Obviously if another club makes a big for a player, it's because they think the player might want the move, but it's not necesarily a sign we want to sell. I think the key wording here is "linked with moves". Are we actively looking to sell Archer and AA? There are always lots of stories on deadline day, but actual moves tends to be very few. 1

I just think it’s been so long since we’ve seen competent Premier league CBs that we’re used to it.
