Giving me Tommy Forecast vibes when he was included to reduce the Bale fee. Anyone know if Tyrese Hall is a promising talent or a non league player in disguise?

Not sounding like a Livramento or Lavia at face value but Spurs have him on a long contract so must think he has something. An attacking midfielder by the looks https://www.football.london/tottenham-hotspur-fc/players/who-tyrese-hall-tottenham-wonderkid-29170903

Readijng that first article it seems that Spurs only had 8 players on the bench on Sunday. Bit disconcerting that Postecoglou doesn't rate him enough for a place on their bench when they are desperate.

Probably shouldn't be posting this screenshot from my own personal phone of a couple of messages I received  from 2020 and recent as it's not on twitter so can't provide a link, sorry Fabrice.

Been looking at him for over 4years, apparently Al Shabab have now turned to Lemina instead (it's ok Fabrice, link to twitter provided on that one (Lemina), dont worry).

@hypochondriac can you ask your brother in law? Given all his close connections at Spurs

Did asking you where you get your info from really touch this much of a nerve? Just trying to work out why we should trust you when you post things or whether you are getting them from somewhere on twitter, that’s all. How’s this loan going anyway?

Dibling leaving now would be mad, surprising and probably bring the rest of the pitchforks out towards Sport Republic.

There’s already going to be a few more appearing the more summer signings leave before deadline day. 😂

MB is one of the best posters on here, stop trying to cause problems where there aren't any. If they're valid or not, who cares - they're posted for the right reasons, not just to get reactions.

I’m not trying to cause problems. I just wanted to know when he posts things with such certainity does he mean he’s heard from a source of his own or has he taken it off twitter 😂 I’m only trying to work out whether his posts should be of interest or not.

And now every post he makes he’s bitter I even asked ffs 😂

He's not moving now, in the summer yeah - as he screams $$$$ for SR.

We're at the very least going to be flush with cash in the Championship again the next time round, Dibling has been an unexpected success of this season.

I can't decide whether 'flush with cash' & 'keeping head above PSR waters' are one-in-the-same these days.

That's not the only reason. A newly relegated club like us is never going to turn down the amount of money we will likely get for him. It may allow us to hold on to others like THB or Fernandes.

How can you possibly tell from that screenshot? We have no idea how much money is involved.

Worth remembering that we were incredibly lucky that Dibling decided to come back after he left the first time.

We'll have to sell a lot more than just TD to balance the books if you look at the figures post the last relegation.

He was asked again about bringing players in e.g using PL loan spot and he basically said he has told the club whats needed and its over to them.

The last relegation came on the back of ridiculous January spending that we haven't had this year. Selling Sulemana, ABK, Aribo and Onuachu albeit for smallish fees and then maybe one of THB or Fernandes should be more than enough, particularly because Dibling will be pure profit from an FFP perspective.

Unfortunately I'm not sure we can blame the club for failing to sign anyone of note this window. Who on earth would want to come here at the moment? Much better off keeping our powder dry for next year.

Question for our victorious championship push next season when is the opportune time to sell players to facilitate us spending a lot to acheive that? and still give us room to spend more when we go up again (massive assumption)

i.e sell Dibbling etc in Jan ? or in that mad pre-arranged deals clubs did last year before June (think brighton/newcastle/villa) so we book it this accounting year or after in the normal transfer window but the next accounting window ?

Given its 3 years so will be PL/Champ/PL losses taken into consideration.

Thanks accounting boffins.

Given his subsequent laughing emojis and the tone of his previous posts that's clearly not the case.

As was the case with BBD and Sheffield United, Archer should learn a lot from Leeds' reluctance to include a `must buy if you get promoted' clause in the loan deal. It would seem they fancy him as a player to help them get promoted, but not a player to help them once in the Prem. If they go up they will clearly be able to afford him, so not agreeing to buy on promotion suggests they think they can do better with a PL place secured. Or am I missing something?

If that is the case, there seems little point in him stepping down a division now (unless of course Juric/SFC has indicated he doesn't want him). He may as well stay here, fight for his place and get some more PL games under his belt.

Some press are suggesting we would only consider if there is an obligation, which means he’s not in Juric’s plans? If we can get our money back then ok, but where are the goals coming from in our promotion push? I’d keep him.

If we are struggling to balance the books and meet the finacial fair play rules for this single season we will sell before end of June. If not, it will be after to get it into the 25/26 season. Both single season fogures and rolling three year fogures need to be taken into account.

Potential profit and subsequent tax due is another consideration, although even with a Dibling sale you'd imagine after spending £100m in the summer we wont make a profit.

Having actual cash in the bank from any sales as early as possible in the summer would allow us to get on with our incoming transfer business, but as always, we are probably going to have to see some players going out the door to open up squad places - and (KWP apart) that probably wont happen until the latter part of the summer.

We don’t need to worry about getting cash in and starting our business early.

Sports republic won’t even have a meeting about transfer targets until just before next season starts.

The fact we are trying to put an obligation to buy (assuming that is accurate) suggests Juric/the club doesn't fancy him. I guess Archer may have indicated he wants to leave, so inserting the obligation works for him and SFC? If the `obligation' element of the news stories is true, then one way of the other his time at Saints seems almost up.

Good question. Everyone keeps saying `Armstrong will score a bucket full of goals back in the Championship and without Martin holding him back', but I'm not sure. Having several strikers would be a good plan. Maybe Juric thinks they are too similar and doesnt want both. If that is the case then you allow one to leave - and that obviously requires a suitor. Maybe Armstrign doesn't have one.

Very good.

On the one hand we have fans on here saying we bought players last summer to help us get promoted next season - which sure is is `long term' transfer planning, while on other, the suggestion is that they don't even talk about transfers until half way through the window. Of course, both could be true, but something tells me neither are terribly accurate.

Reminiscing about the good old days at St Mary's and complimenting each other's hair I reckon.

Good luck to Stu, was gutted when he got injured at Cardiff end of last season, he was a calm , influential personality around last season from what I heard, perhaps Lallana was intended to take on that role.
