Bit early for this poppy shite isn't it? There's a game next week which would make more sense

Fuck off. It's Man City's closest home game to remembrance day , they always do it just happens to be not at home for next few weeks

For other teams. We conceded a lot from it.

Just now, Jack said:

No it wasn’t, we shipped 64 goals against a load of shit opposition

Sure there were mistakes at times, but overall it helped us score 87 goals, win 26 games and get promoted. So it was effective.

Still fannying around at back. Suicidal in Champ, fucking ludicrous at the Ethiad.

it may have been effective going forwards, it wasn’t effective in defence. We shipped 63 goals in 46 games, 13 sides in the division had a better defensive record than that. For a side that finished 4th it certainly wasn’t effective in keeping the ball out of our own net.

Effective at leading the second best squad in the league to fourth.

It cost us many games in the Championship. Almost cost us promotion until Bazunus injury forced us to tighten up and cut out the more suicidal passing at the back.

Well we are hoping to beat derbys record low points tally so I'd say beyond shit and into an embarrassment

Future generations will look back and refer to this manager as ‘the record breaking Russell Martin’.

We dropped absolutely loads of points from fucking about and shipping unnecessary goals, we missed the autos by a distance and somehow got through the lottery of the playoffs.

Russell’s brand of football works against seriously inferior opposition, and that’s it.

Thankfully there are far more people with respect for the sacrifices given by so many men, women and children that they accept poppies being sold and worn at this time of year. Personally, I find your description of the poppy Remembrance season offensive and pathetic. Perhaps it's time you grew up.

How can you dispute style of play leads to goals from the matches it is used in? It was a fundamental factor in our build up play.

Like Saints defence and keeper, you're having a 'mare today...

Bednarek not even looking at the ball.

It's easy to have a pop at Stephens because he's utter shite, but Bednarek is honestly little better.  Both have presided over relegations, both dropped by other Prem teams and here we are giving them club captaincy and a contract extension lol

Yep. Both should be nowhere near an EPL team.

Ok sure, the wars over, we don't need to keep banging on about it. We're here to watch football not give some performance about something that no living people remember 🤷

Fernandes is the new Boufal, Ramirez, Osvaldo etc. Generally crap but every now and again does something great and then lives off it for the next month.

Disagree, I think he’s been easily one of our most consistently decent performers

I disagree. Fernandes is a young man learning his trade but he will be quality.

'Good possession, but no intent to go anywhere near the City penalty area' says the commentator on my stream.

Sums up our season pretty much.

We've got the brave 1-0. No need. Moral victory!

And how can you prove that playing in a different style wouldn’t have got more goals, less conceded and more points. It’s a crap ‘style’ monotonous and boring.
Have you been watching today how we skillfully get from the edge of the City area and eventually fanny our way back to Ramsdale. From the Opposition area. Absolute crap football. Pathetic, pointless and all driven by an obsessive manager who thinks he’s so smart that he’s bulletproof. He has not discovered a new way of playing. He is not an under the radar genius. He’s a man with an overinflated ego who just will not change.

Martin claims this style of football is the most attractive. Not the way he implements it. Sideways and backwards at every opportunity, and possession for possessions sake until we give the ball away. The sooner he's sacked the better
