At least the atmos ar SMS is much more upbeat than I was thinking it might be whatever the score. I really did not want to attend in case it got truly horrendous but Glad I’m here and made the effort to support the team in this big match.

Personally, I've been happy that SR have stuck w Russell and that Russell has basically stuck w his strategy (albeit, giving a little more leeway for clearance under pressure). When it works, Russ-ball is simply wonderful to watch. Today, it's mostly working.   If we had a slightly fairer ref could easily be 3-0.    Dibbling, Downes, KWP, Ramsdale, Fernandes, Aribo, ...   and I'll add Bednarek, Harwood-bellis and Sugawara - we have real quality.  

I'd love to see tall Paul come on and head us home 3-0.    Need to focus and fight this second half. No lapses!!   If we can, we'll go out out of this with a massive surge of confidence and I could see us going on a mini-run... not quite like last year, but enough to dispel any thoughts we don't belong in the premier league.

Predict Tyler will be replaced by Fraser early doors. He is having to mark Madvidi in defence down there left and is already on a yellow. Sensible to let Fraser do the running ( and fouling of Madvidi who is a decent player) for that.

This prick is going to send one of ours off at the first opportunity so we need to sub out some of the players on a yellow. I'd swap Fernandes for Lallana and Manning for Taylor second half. 

Also we need a third goal, because if they score next I've got a horrible feeling we will crumble.

Great to be two up but honestly there’s lots of risk building for the second half. Primarily the Ref who seems intent on giving Leicester an advantage by ignoring their shithousery. Dibling is getting frustrated and I think the Ref has his card marked for a second yellow - would put Lallana on for him to inject some experience.

It’s going to be RM’s decisions this half that decided whether we get the three points or not. Watch out for a triple substitution on 60 minutes. I do hope he’s paid Taylor a visit during halftime and asked if he might try to protect our players a bit more.

We've actually played some counter-press today and had  success and chances with it - somewhat speculative longer ball to where we have an overload or at least equal numbers then heavy pressure to win the 2nd ball. Winning the ball high up the pitch then trying to score in transition. It's the return of Ralph-ball!
