Anyone planning to go to this game?

Some of the ex-saints that are returning deserve a good reception, hopefully they get a decent crowd in raise plenty of cash for charity.

Will be odd as obviously everyone will be supporting the Saints Legends, not sure if the Russell Martin XI fans will be put in the away end?

I suspect she will have a seat to herself in the Director's Box.

It's a charity football match thread, please can we refrain from turning it yet another discussion about Rickie and Tiss's wacky conspiracy theories. Thank you.

That being said, it's a shame the government didn't organise a bit of nicer weather for today's match.

Pretty awful turnout by the look of things?

Bit of a shame.

It was barely advertised from what I could see, aside from the fact it's just really poorly timed. Imagine back in 2016 a Saints legends v Koemans 11, it would have been huge.

Norwich's legends are much better than ours.

I think he saiod he wanted to manage Norwich one day. Perhaps its a 'spiritual home'.

Was there many there?

Stadium looked empty!

According to Alfie House about 7000 , not a bad afternoon entertainment, I’ll make a donation to the saints foundation on the back of that !

Ok, now that it's over can we sack him please?

"The Russell Martin Charity match was a prime example of the type of entertaining attacking football you can expect when his style is fully embedded in the teams mentality. For this reason we are delighted to announce a further contract extension till 2035 on top of the extension signed last summer".
