If we don't such Helmet head Martin soon we'll be massively adrift in no time. I've seen all the other teams and they are all far more dynamic than us. Even Ipswich, even Everton.

Wec look utterly abject, clueless, and wasteful all over the park.

Well promotion was a total waste of time. To lose is one thing but to not even compete is unforgivable. Martin will come out after the game and say he is to blame and not the players and he's probably right. To have lost a game against a mid table team 30 minutes in is just aopaling

Fuck me this is just beyond pathetic.

I don't think I've ever seen such an abject performance. I'll be amazed if it stays 3-0.

We've lost 9-0 twice mate...

That was very embarrassing. Men and boys. Even basics like marking from throw-ins - we leave their men free while they are all over ours.  You have to get the basics right - RM and his coaches don't. Hope this is his last game in charge or it's going to be lots more humiliation.

Although Martin has no plan b, or c, or d......the players just aren't good enough for the Premier League. Sports Republic havn't backed us at all in the transfer window, apart from Ramsdale. Absolute shit show. How the fuck they thought this squad could compete is beyond me. The whole club from from top to bottom needs re-modelling. I also cannot see who is going want to come in instead of Martin and turn this around. Going to be one hell of a job.

Half time review.

Minutes 0-6. We looked alright, some nice fast passing and a couple of shots.

Minutes 7-45. Awful, worse than anything we've seen even under Nathan Jones. Shameful stuff.

What will minutes 46-90 bring?

He has not changed the formation during this game. It was clear early in that it was stupid…. No strikers again, why does he do this?

He wants a bigger job than ours. Moyes is the only one I think would come, and even then we only have one player who can play the way he does in TP.

Genuinely think that Martin is as out of his depth as Jones was. In many ways it's actually worse as Jones never had a preseason or an entire season to work on what he wanted the players to do.

Promotion flattered to deceive. Need a new guy ASAP. God knows who will come here though.

What manager would want to try and save this ship with our crew, we are woefully short of any quality players.

Zero players with any balls. Horrible set up. Terrible selections. Woeful quality. No heart. And don’t seem to be bothered playing for the manager. Looks like time is up already.

Apparently the last time B'Muff scored 3 in the first half it ended 3-3. Can anyone really see Saints even getting into the final third 3 times?

That was worse than anything Nathan Jones served up. Worse performance since Redknapps surrendered at Fratton.

It’s down to Lego head, unorganised, shite formation, truly horrendous. How anyone can defend the twat after this is beyond me.

Yes, but it's also very clear that these players are not capable of doing what this manager wants, city we ain't.

This is special, even by our abysmally low standards.

Could we be watching the worst side in Premier League history?

Yes.

It's the sort of thing that is either genius or retarded. 15 minutes in it was clearly retarded and at that point he should have reverted to a normal formation. Why on earth we bothered to change the team from last week I have no idea.

In Glen Hoddle’s brief tenure he would make changes after a few minutes if things weren’t working. The writing was on the wall before the first goal went in and yet nothing perceptible has changed.

Never mind Hoddle, even Alan Pardew would change things on the fly.

I can't wait to see what subs we bring on at half time.

Unforgivable to play Dibling through the middle. Amazingly naive tactically, and crass man-management. I appreciate we've got shit players, but that decision alone is a sackable offence.

No we are not. We have quality players. They are just not showing it in the present system.

Oh fucking dear. Oh dear.

A pretty abysmal performance... toothless and embarrassingly weak. They're slicing through us like a knife through hot butter.

we look like a poorly organised Championship outfit.

Just don’t get it. We have been creating chances in all our games, playing well at times but just not converting. So why change the whole system. Dibling has been lost this evening yet he has run the show in previous games. If he believes it was working, and I did think it was, why make the wholesale changes. And even then at 2-0, why not change it.
He won’t get the boot but I hope he learns from this. Second half, get back to the way we were set up before.

What’s a bigger job than trying to get a win out of Saints?

Bit of a myth that Moyes is a long ball manager. He is more in the Koeman mould, mixing it up with direct passing to someone who can hold it up or getting it down the wings with pace.

absolutely dreadful, getting absolutely dominated all over the pitch. We look like a disorganised pub team.

That good?? You're generous.

Dibling has also been kicked out of the game, someone on here predicted that a couple of weeks ago too.  Les I don't see the fascination with, YET, maybe I'm missing something? Walker-Peters not being on the pitch is criminal.  Yes we all loved Fraser last year, but he shouldn't be playing at this level. And then we have 3 players from 2 relegated teams who went down without a fight in the squad. Amazing recruitment. The club (as a whole) has really fked this up with piss poor recruitment and extending Martin's contract.

I think he read the posts on here saying Dibling should play through the middle.

I agree. But we could have told Martin that before the season started. No one other than Martin wanted to stick with a mental strategy of continuously playing out from the back and keeping it in our own half.

We only got promoted because Stephens was injured for a long period of time and Bazunu got injured for the crucial games at the end. If we had his first choice team all season we'd still be down there, he scraped by achieving the absolute bare minimum and it over inflated his ego.

Yeah, thank f**k that happened. The 3 wins, 2 draws and 8 defeats since then have been a breath of fresh air.

Yep. Because we are playing again without a striker, because far too many times the oppo scores with their first shot on target

and yet we have  5 (five) strikers sitting on the bench !
