I have backed Martin to date, but we will not get beyond 10 points if he stays. Pull the trigger now and we may stand a chance of turning things around.

Indeed. We waited too long with Ralph and that didn't help matters. Just got to make sure we make the right appointment this time.

But this is a different style - watch the fucking game.

Different shape, same style of play - toothless shite.

It gives me no pleasure to say this, but Martin looks a broken man.

I’d be broken too if this is the squad I was given to try and compete in the richest league in the world

No it’s not. How is it different? It’s good either way though isn’t it?

The best two performances against Ipswich were Lallana and Dibling.

So, RM drops the former and plays the latter out of position.

To be fair, Lallana likely needs a rest given his age and the fact he missed most of the preseason. Moving Dibling is indefensible.

Bournemouth have looked average and they're playing keep ball and are romping away with the game.

Absolute shambles from saints, Martin can't survive this surely

Martin out…. Or the players letting him down?

They don't seem to be bought into the 'system', nor putting any effort into it for him.

Players just aren't good enough.

Probably right but he looks so far behind McKenna and Cooper tactically it’s frightening. Just not cut out for this level as Jones wasn’t either, Dragan needs to act. I like him as a personality but his confidence is gone, you can tell. Aim has to be to compete better, beat the 22/23 points total and come back with a bit more momentum.

A rest from what? He had over a week off

We're playing a different formation with longer balls out and more urgency. However, we're giving it away because of that and Bournemouth are picking us off.

Martin has just sat here. Watched this formation be appalling. Watched them score 2. Watched them attack more and more, stroked his beard nervously a number of times, changed nothing and allowed it to continue.... And sure enough they've scored a 3rd. Entirely on Martin that goal, inexcusable.

He appears woefully out of his depth by allowing this to continue. The game is now gone. Shocking.
